This unironically happened to me last month.
I grabbed my pen and started scribbling in the blank spaces of the exam paper (since only the answer sheet would be taken).
Basically, the last page was fully blank, and i just casually wrote an 8 paragraphs-long poem.

You're just a "side" character in a realistically simulated ecosystem, and depending on which of the characters you play (same species, but on different moments in time and with different purposes) have a different purpose. Some are send by unhappy God-like beings (compared to you at least) to try and accomplish something (as they themselves cannot move around), or you're just being your useless cat-like self and happen upon one of them getting entangled in a short but difficult (optional mission) to help someone out... That or you get send away and communicate to your kin to leave "him" the flip alone.

I adore Rain World, and it's so neat how, with the exceptions of Artificer and Gourmand, you're just a side character who gets caught up in the affairs of mechanical deities abandoned by their creators.
(I consider Arti and Gourmand to be their own stories that aren't really as tied into the main story of the iterators as much as the others.
