You have such a talent for explaining things in a way that’s simple and easy to understand. Your clear explanations make learning so much smoother, and I really appreciate how you break things down so well. It’s a skill that not everyone has, and it makes a big difference! Thank u💕💕
Fun fact: enzymes in the small intestine are opposite to the stomach enzymes and work best at alkaline conditions :D this is why it’s so useful that bile neutralises the hydrochloric acid in the stomach, meaning the enzymes can then work at their best and fastest when the food goes into the small intestine. (I do hope that’s right lol)
As the temperature increases, the rate of reaction increases due to increased kinetic energy of the particles. When it reaches the optimum temperature, the rate of energy drops rapidly due to the high temperature breaking apart the bonds holding the enzymes together, causing the active site to change shape. Upon it changing shape, the enzyme won’t be able to bind to the substrate and catalyse the reaction, hence the enzyme has been denatured Temp increase-> rate of reaction increases due to increased kinetic energy-> Optimum temp->rate of energy drops *rapidly* due to high temperature-> break apart bonds holding the enzymes together-> As the shape of the active site changes-> the enzyme cannot bind to the substrate& catalyse rate of reaction->causing enzyme to denature For my learning purposes :)
Hi Cognito👋👋 Thank you so much for your interesting videos as they make difficult topics much easier to understand. So once again thank you so much! Also a kind request, would please try to make a video for Upper bound and lower bound? Because I am sitting for my OLs this May so this would help me learn this particular "BOUNDS" chapter more quicker...📓📚😊😊 Would you please upload?? 😭😭😭 As I enjoy and learn with interest when I see your videos Cognito.......... Even my school teachers weren't so clear and didn't make my lessons so interesting
Literally just been revising for paper one ! Cognito has taught me more than my teachers and is getting me straight 8s and 9s . Will you move onto A-level content when you've finished with GCSE content?
@@Spookers7 I'm doing the aqa exam and on the website is the exam info so i wrote all the topics out (minus the ones specifically not assessed ) and literally searched up the topic title and a cognito video will show up and then i copy down what the video says and shows. it works for me because i can hear and see it whilst also writing it .
