Bro I thought you had lots of subs n views because of the quality of videos you put out , you definitely deserve lots of views n subs keep grinding love the vids!
This is what I’ve been looking into. I’ve researched why facial hair grows and it’s because our follicles are sensitive to DHT. I’m working to get my full beard 😭😭 I currently have my chin strap (goatee and side burns), and mustache. The mustache and goatee have been taking forever to connect, but they’re definitely 8% away from linking lol I’ve researched how to maintain the anagen/growth phase. I’m a pretty healthy eater. I eat a lot of fruits (typically blueberries and pineapples) and vegetables, I drink about 50 fluid ounces of water a day. Not much change there, I feel. I recently changed my beard oil and conditioner from shea moisture to scotch porters, which is so much better IMO, because I noticed that I have so many split ends even when I get them clipped. I figured that I’d need a better moisturize option.
Hope this helps because I used to be in your same situation (patchy beard that wouldn’t fill in). when I first started growing my beard I also started with Scotch Porter before I learned a lot and tried 30+ different companies… Nothing against Scotch Porter but their “oil” isn’t actually beard oil which is why it’s called Beard Serum and has some ingredients I would personally not want to put on my face such as soybean oil( same thing restaurants use to deep fry food). Good rule of thumb is if you can’t pronounce any of the ingredients in beard oil it’s not good (rule doesn’t apply to wash and conditioner). There should only be a some different oils for ingredients, maybe vitamin E/tocopherols then just the fragrance/essential oil’s for scent. Just letting you know their are other great beard oils out there for the 💲, especially to help with growth. I’d check out any emu based beard oil or maybe even a cbd based oil. I can suggest a few such as Fable beard co, Seven Potions (definitely their conditioner! A must have and it’s Available on Amazon as well), Magic City Beard Co has great ostrich oil based beard oil, amazing to help with getting a fuller beard, as well as Detroit grooming (everything from oil, butter, wash and conditioner you can’t go wrong with Detroit Grooming also available on Amazon). Artius Man is also a great company if you like thicker oils which the Scotch Porter Serum definitely is… amazing all natural scents/all essential oils and you can get samples for free to tryout the scents before you buy a bottle. Artius Man is perfect for beard growth with amazing ingredients and very affordable 14-19$ a bottle and is a one stop shop for everything you need from beard oil, balm, butter, wash and conditioner ever body wash and shampoo. I definitely recommend at least getting the free samples in scents you personally like (Restoration and Citrus Fire are my favorites)because they’re 5ml each and last quite a while! I Hope this helped you out, I have no association with any of the companies I’ve mentioned, they’re just a few that I know are great after trying out
@@gingerd4321 Thank you so much for this! I appreciate your feedback, really! I'll look into others! I do notice a difference in hair texture now that I have a routine going. I'm still trying new oils myself, but that's an interest fact, regarding the differences between oils and serums. I'm definitely going to take a look at the products that you listed above. I'm hoping this is what I've been missing the entire time! Thanks again! :)
I have recently started taking Centrum Silver multivitamins for people over 50..I have a very week beard that falls out quite often and i was wondering if i am on the right vitamin or should i take something else??
Just wanna say thanks for an actually well thought, researched, and presented video on this other than just "lol stress/diet." I found myself pulling out a lot of beard hair this past week or so, and while yeah the actual act of pulling on the hair is maybe stress based but why they pulled out so easily and also kinda why I feel like my beard now looks better now makes a lot of sense. I hadn't been grooming/trimming all the care stuff behind so it really was dead fluff getting out of there but it's not what you'd want if you want the best beard. I don't know if I'm a beard afficianado to sub to a purely beard channel just wanted to say hey thanks.
I just brushed my beard and there were about 50 strands, but that number didn't include; waking up, shower, applying minoxidil, brushing x3, and touching. I think my beard is on the way out... Also, you mentioned biotin causes hair loss, I thought the opposite, that it was good for nails and hair?
Certain parts of my chin I can literally just pull out all of the beard hairs without force or pain until it's bald, other parts the hairs in there and hurt to pull like normal. I recently had alopecia barbae but that bald patch is growing back, not sure if that's related though.
Same here, but most of the the hairs that comes out very easy for me are white and almost plastic like 🤔 some black thincker hairs comes out easy aswell but mostly white, always same spot on the right side of my chin😛
Great info. I stress about my beard hair falling out too soon (which probably doesn't help! Stress!! 😬) , and I am probably in the 30 hairs a day range, so this is reassuring. Only 6 weeks left of the yeard to go, any tips on beard bereavement before I shave? 😂
I had a friend who always wore a goatee, but had a twisting problem. He would twist it all the time until he eventually twisted it bald right above the butt of his chin. Twisting definitely does not only damage, but lasting follicle damage. Don't do it.

Just pulled out about 50 beard hairs watching this 😂

Where there is inflammation, there will be beard pulling.😅
It’s annoying for sure!

Wait Biotin causes hair fall?
What about wearing a face mask all day long?
Thanks 🙏🏻
Twisting fucking up parts of my beard and its hurting my confidence so much. Wish i never touched it it looked so good and now i got bald spots

I don't think I ever had as many hairs fall out as 50.
The most would be 15 or 20.
And that's not daily.
🤙🏽
Wow. I guess I'm a slob. I wash my beard when I take a shower and that's it.. I'll brush it every morning but that's it
You only need to wash your beard 2-3 times a week
