About One Day At A Time: Set in Indianapolis, this beloved, long-running series takes a comedic but realistic look at divorcee Ann Romano (Bonnie Franklin) and her daily struggle to find her own identity while raising her two daughters, rebellious Julie (Mackenzie Phillips), 16 when the series begins, and level-headed Barbara (Valerie Bertinelli), a year younger. Even though Ann pretends to be liberated and secure, she's always treading the line between her former, deep-rooted dependence and her newly acquired independence. Building superintendent Dwayne Schneider (Pat Harrington Jr.) helps take care of the family, while lawyer David Kane (Richard Masur) tempts Ann to reconsider her single state. Ann's priority, however, is discovering her own potentials, which includes a new career, raising her daughters, and learning more about herself and her world.

It is Robbie Benson. That voice is unmistakable.
Whatever happened to him?
@@lisadiconti he got married, raised a family, voiced the Beast in Beauty and the Beast for Disney, among other works. He is thriving!!
Robbie Benson... Pre " Ice Castles " and " Ode to Billie Joe"...among others. I watched this show quite often .
My first crush. I was 12. Thanks for casting Robby. RIP NL.
"I'm dead" the 70's really did come back in every way.
Except now the term “I’m dead” usually means something is so funny they died of laughter
He has the cutest voice.
Omg poor Julie! 🤣
I agree with him. The mom is the hot one outta that group!
Yeah Ann is pretty hot.
Ha ha...they made Julie look frumpy and Ann look cool.
Julie seemed to always have some type of a passive agressive attitude, though Bonnie Franklin was somewhat the same.
Yeah... lol. Julie's outfit didn't work- it looked like it should be worn by someone three times her age.
Ahhh, the first few seasons were a lot of fun
Robby Benson!! ❤️❤️
Original ice castles
Ode to billy joe
That guy gives me the creepiest vibes
Didn’t Robby Benson and Valerie Bertinelli date after this episode? Tiger Beat reported lol
Trying to remember the name of the guy 🤔🤔
Oh, it's Robbie Benson!! Sorry! 🤣😊😬😬
Funny You say this bcuz My Hubby and I had a BIG Debate.....I Lost BIG Time, too!!😂😂😂😂 I thought the "College Guy" a.k.a Blind Date was Mr. John Travolta, lol!!😁 I Argued him Up & Down until I looked it up and NOPE....it's Robby Benson, LOL!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@CamsPurpleCorner John Travolta was being Vinnie Barbarino in early 1976.
The character "Schneider" is a pain in the "A", should have have been written out of the show, he was a "Yenta" aka busy body, interfering in other people's life!!!
I agree, I couldn't stand the character. Totally inappropriate from day one, even for the '70's. Just one of those stupid one joke characters who endlessly riff on their schtick, and never develop or grow. Really beneath Norman Lear.
idk who the fk that is but i know he's a goddamned legend!
Robbie Benson - Ice Castles, Ode to Billy Joe, One on One

This scenario goes a lot different these days.
Ah! The creepy 70s!!! 😵
Why creepy? I love Donna Summer, 70s Cher, and Diana Ross, glamour, disco classics, etc. I coect a lot of stuff and have for years. I wish I lived the fun era because I was just born in 1973. I bet people were friendlier. Times were simpler before all this technology.
I'd take the 70s over this dumpster fire any day!
