to elaborate - he is mandatory to have a chance against control decks. ive won games where im 20 points behind the entire third round as they remove every preacher as it hits the board, but otkell intou double preacher + leader + truffle is collossaly last say that they cant anser by that point. better than ale of ancetors. you put otkell in the deck before you put ale
Interesting, I've used Otkel Druids before. I much prefer Ale since it can also protect the Engines from being removed, has the upside of scaling with the Froths and Ales, and doesn't end up bricked sometimes. Not many decks can answer several 7 power units from Ale. For Otkel I always play Troubador though to get those extra Preachers otherwise I find you end up without enough in grave for all of the Blessings fairly often. Because of that I always put Ale in with Otkel in Druids, but then you can't run Portal which is what I wanted to test.
