People who aren't Philly fans just will never understand what we felt through this. Foles had played pretty well with us before and we trusted in him. We had billboards for him, we Believe in Saint Nick. There were some doubts sure, but damn man if you were in the area you could just feel like something special was in the air. You could literally feel like yes, this is our year and Big Nick is bringing it to us. I can't even express how much we love Nick out here. He will always be Philly no matter where he goes and what he does. We miss you Nick and wish we had kept you. 🦅🦅🦅
As an eagles fan, that Super Bowl year was a magical year. Hoping the eagles can win another one this year, it’s also a shame what happened to wentz but I am happy he signed with the rams and hope he has a career resurgence
When Carson went down I called my dad and just cried lol I couldn’t believe our luck. He told me to keep my head up cuz it’s not over yet…. The rest is history man! All happy tears from then on
@@jduke93I'm a bit confused? Frank was absolutely an important part of that staff, but play calling is very far from the only important part of winning/having a good offense. This doesn't change what was said. I don't mean this as a gotcha, just genuinely curious if I'm missing something. This doesn't change the Doug point at all
I bought tickets to the Giants-Eagles game and I was so bummed that Wentz tore his ACL the game before while diving for a touchdown. Little did I know I was about to witness Foles first win on the path to glory.
I remember the 2013 season. Something special happened that season for me and I knew Foles was that guy. And I also remember the doubters and haters when Foles came back in 2016 to stand in for Wentz lmao.
Crazy to think I was at the rams games. I remember not even paying attention to the rest of the game after Wentz went down. Fast forward to the SB and we win on my birthday. Best moment of my life.
I'm not an eagles fan, but i really thought they should have started him the following year. Wentz still had a ton of trade value and Foles proved that he was a great fit with the team.
@@edp4446 Don't make me laugh. First time, OK. Second time, after Wentz got injured again? Clearly he wasn't going to be the same after that. Foles should have been kept and installed as starting QB then.
To this day, Nick doesn’t get the respect that he deserves. People say that Cunningham, McNabb and Vick were all great players and better than Nick. Well guess what?? Nick got the job done by Philly winning the Superbowl! Miss ya Nick💚💚💚💚
Well people who say Vick was a great player need to see the Eye Doctor Tonight!!!! He had 10 game stretch of greatness. Massively overrated. Randall was awesome talent but never got to shine until he went to Minnesota. Thanks to Buddy Ryan. Donovan McNabb doesn't receive his due. The Eagles was trash before he arrived during the 1990s. He made the Eagles Relevant and a perennial contender for a decade. 3rd best QB of the decade after Brady/Manning. Foles get his credit, the man have a statue and got fans calling him the best QB ever in eagles history. Which is blasphemous. He a career backup.
Holy shit, I stopped watching this video halfway in. The host needs to try decaf or something. His pace does not match the pace of the game clips, making this video jarring to watch.

Watching him back up Vick to winning that Super bowl , it was glorious

Bill Belichick held out Malcom Butler to teach Kraft a lesson. This should have come with a big bow on it.

BIG D NICK, what a legend
For us Eagles fans, this was one of the most incredible moments in our lives. Foles will remain a Philly legend forever.🦅
Foles is the Clark Kent of Philly, put him in an Eagles uniform, he becomes Superman 💪💪💪💪🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
More like plastic mask
Talkin bout being ready when your time comes. That was a great run for the Eagles and Nick Foles.
Dougie P was the mastermind behind the Eagles super bowl run
Frank Reich would like to have a talk with you.
Yea frank reich was doing most of the play calling

Doug sure was. Every Eagles QB perform well that season. Even Nick Sudfeld was good

Nick, retiring as a Philadelphia EAGLE tonight! God bless ‘em
Real Eagles fans knew Floes potential… Mr. 27/2 TD/pick ratio under chip Kelly before being traded.
He's also tied the record for most passing touchdowns in a game with 7! The second Eagle on that list too! 🦅
I'm not an eagles fan, but i really thought they should have started him the following year. Wentz still had a ton of trade value and Foles proved that he was a great fit with the team.
I said the same thing
You are saying that now because Wentz was never the same. Foles was never cut out to be a full season starter.
@@edp4446 I was never really a Wentz fan, too injury prone
@@edp4446 Don't make me laugh. First time, OK. Second time, after Wentz got injured again? Clearly he wasn't going to be the same after that. Foles should have been kept and installed as starting QB then.
Facts. Everytime foles play more than 10 games. It turn into a disaster
Super Mario hosting the show!
I had been suffering since 1977 , I cant tell you how much that SB meant to me
Michael’s an colinsworth we’re so upset and emotionless during anything good for the Eagles
I was pissed when Kelly traded away foles because I knew one day he’d lead the team to a title
I like to pretend im from years past, before these videos occur lol
BIG D#@* NICK was an absolute beast throughout the playoffs then he smacked Brady and Belicheat in the SB!!!
The real rocky story

Retired that #9

Super Bowl 52 was the best performance Tom Brady ever had and Nick Foles outplayed him.
Brady set the sb yds rec
Rise or another Fall for Charlotte Hornets new ERA & new owners your next video theScore 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good News cigarette juice
this dude is tweaking so hard wont stop moving
well it was the defense that carried that team
You might wanna consider a more masculine tone of voice
Foles > Hurts
Both of them are good. I'd be cool with either one.
What kind of take is this??
Foles never played an entire season in his career.
