    “Magnus did nothing wrong”
Immediately followed by: magnus tore a whole in the plains of existence.
    Wow… deja vu

Considering it literally created Nirn's sun (TES suns aren't 2 dimensional portals btw they ARE both sun suns AND portals) so...better 😂😂

Can you really blame Magnus though for wanting to get out of Mundas after realizing he was deceived and just wanting to go back home?

Besides it's not like it did any real evil harm. Yes he and several others left and burst holes in the barriers of Mundas but hey they didn't really do anything real bad other then let magika from Aetherius flow in.

I must admit though, even with that little 'non-linear timeline' shenaniganery going on with Nirn and Lorkhan's Heart, this was probably the tidiest, least biased and just the quickest summary of the Dawn Era I have seen this far.

Started playing with morrowind when I was in high school. French is my first language. Back then I didn’t speak too much English outside of yes/no…. Toaster? So playing that game in English was quite the experience. I did end up completing the main quest and several side quest but I was mainly a murder hobo figuring out what the hell I was doing. Completion took me 10 months. Again, didn’t even speak English. I was the only one in my friend group who did finish it so I was kinda proud.

Some think the realm of Mundas is pretty much Lorkan's own place of oblivion which is more unique then the others.
With the way time works in these sub dimensions I don't think even Tzeentch would be able to monitor the logistics very well unless he applies his own reality bending haxs.

You should check out Lady of Scrolls' TES lore vids, especially her "The Elder Scrolls Lore: Magic" video. It's one of my favorite lore videos on the magic of The Elder Scrolls.

Fun fact, the thing with the moons being Lorkhan's bisected corpse is possibly a slight misunderstanding; the theory is based on calling the moons the remnants of his "flesh-divinity" which many take to less mean his actual body and more as the physical manifestation of Lorkhan's STATUS as a god. Aedra are weird, bro.
Also, it's not that the Altmer were told that they were the best, it's that they recall (in a manner warped by time and culture) the diminishment of the godlike Aedra into the mortal Elnohfey and eventually into the Aldmer (the 'original' elves, so to speak), and believe it to be a cruel trick by Lorkhan to punish them. They hate the races of men so much because they believe Lorkhan favors humans, and in all fairness he is indeed worshipped among a number of human cultures as the patron of mankind. Except the Redguards, who ironically enough share the Altmer's views.

For the old man and anyone else who is curious what he was on about when he said that the Dawn era lacked linear time he was basically saying that it was one long dragon break and for anyone who doesn't know what that is here's a little bit of it I ripped straight out of the elder scrolls fandom page about it
( A Dragon Break, sometimes referred to as an un-time,[1] is a temporal phenomenon that involves a splitting of the natural timeline which results in branching parallel realities where the same events occur differently, or not at all. This results in a return to the non-linear timeline of the Dawn Era. At the end of a Dragon Break, the timeline reconnects making all possibilities and outcomes truth, though contradictory to each other. "Dragon" in the name refers to Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time )
If that doesn't make sense basically imagine time is like a rope and a dragon break is when that rope splits into various alternate timelines and reconnects into one timeline at the end of the dragon
Hope this helps with any confusion
funnily enough because of the nonlinear time it's possible that both the moons and the world are simply two corpses of lorkhan from different timelines

Let me give you an example how powerful magic can be; suffeciently powerful mage can RESURRECT him/herself and can literally create pocket dimentions in Oblivion aka the warp of of TES but with more physical planes....mostly.
    Powerful mages are TERRIFYING.
Since Lorkhan is THE God of Nirn. That's why you cannot destroy Lorkhan without him there IS no Nirn. It isn't that they couldn't create infinitily it is the Lorkhan WAY of creating saping their power. For all we know without Lorkhan they might be able to. It gets very very complicated of creation 😅

Anu and Padomay remind me of Aether being attuned to either Astral (that of stasis) or Umbral (that of change) polarity in FFXIV.

My theory is not that his body literally became nirn but rather his power was akin to the power of nirn thus anything of nirn had no effect on him. You have to remember may of gods lost a huge amount of power making nirn!

10:40 - Sounds like a greek thing, where when Gaia and Ouranus use to rule the world, their son Kronos castrated Ouranus and his body fell onto Gaia... only to be later lifted from Gaia by Atlas after Kronos himself was overthrown as leader, with the War of the Titans leading to Zeus becoming the ruler... Gaia and Ouranus both being primordeal gods that are literally both the Earth and Sky.
