My thumb is on the head side of the flashlight. If you hold the flashlight in a tactical style like a police officer or security guard, we recommend the SRT7i or NEXTORCH TA30C MAX. Hold it with thumb on the tail switch. You should know that the TA30C MAX has no charging port on the body.
I don't have a measuring device, so I can't measure it directly, but the NITECORE website says "Beam color White Light" And NITECORE's White Light is about 6500K color temperature
