Exactly the comparison I needed. Thanks !
I like the air volume control and the battery level indicator☺ There is a lanyard hole, but no lanyard is included Please use a cheap clamp as the tail stand will fall down when the airflow is increased Pocket Fan → NEF02 charger.nitecore.com/product/nef02 Handheld Fan → NEF03 charger.nitecore.com/product/nef03 Tripod Fan → NEF10 charger.nitecore.com/product/nef10 Neck Fan → NEF20 charger.nitecore.com/product/nef20 More Power → CW20 photo.nitecore.com/product/cw20
how did you measure the distances? by using infra ray?
Measured by MAVEN RF.1
Very good quality 💯
Thank you for your review. i would like to know about the colour of the light (colour temperature) , between of these two light? the MH12 pro seems not pure white colour? please advice, because i am looking for the white led. Thank you so much.
MH12 Pro is about 5500K EDC35 is about 6000K MH12 Pro has a greenish beam EDC35 has a slight greenish beam in low mode, but almost no greenish beam in medium mode and beyond
@@16traces Thank you for your information. 😉👍
Very easy to use and cheap
A minute and thirty six seconds later, he's played with the plastic bag and flipped the box around a few times. I'm out. Can someone let me know what the light looks like...if you make it that far into this video.
Thank you, your review is the best.
I like the simplicity of this light. But the quick ramp down is kinda a bummer. What would you pick between this and olight warrior x 4? Thx for review
I think I like PD40R better
@@16traces thx. Any particular reason?
@@HawaiiJapan808 The switch feels very easy to use when used in outdoor situations Of course, in a tactical scene, the Warrior X 4 should have the edge
Hi, congratulations for the review. For information I can know if the autonomy changes in the various modalities, or remains the one in Max Flood, Max Spot. Hello and again compliments
autonomy...? modality...?
@@16traces Thanks for your attention and sorry, I'll try to express myself better. by autonomy, (Battery life) I mean if it changes from flood mode to launch mode in the various phases, if it lasts longer? or it doesn't change, it stays the same
@@giuseppebella There is a slight difference in runtime between Max Spot and Max Flood. Max Spot seems to be able to light up a little longer. I think this is due to the fact that the internal electronic diffuser(11:28) consumes a little more power during Flood.🤓 www.acebeam.com/w35-lc-del-zoom-lep-flashlight
I don't know about runtime changes in the state between Max Spot and Max Flood as I can't measure them. But I don't see a big difference either way, so I don't think you need to be particularly concerned about it. And I can't think of many situations where I would keep the LEP on for long periods of time, and I don't think walking around at night using flood mode is a good idea considering the body size of the W35.
@@16tracesI understood, I imagined that there was no difference in autonomy, in the various intermediate modes. I'm happy to subscribe to your channel
Thanksmate
should try ht30r
I carry an Olight daily for an edc, I’d still NEVER trust it on a weapon!! Lol 😂 I want my WML’s to work when I need em and not diss assemble on their own under recoil haha 😂 these are better than the first Gen but still, I see these fail on a regular basis 🤷♂️👎
I haven’t actually tried it yet, but I’m thinking next time I either remove or add a pocket clip I will try using plastic straws to remove or add a new pocket clip. Only if I am concerned about the marks because some of my flashlights are collectors and yes, I do use them, but I also like to keep them in really good condition in case I sell them in the future. I am thinking that certainly when you’re putting the clip on, you could put one straw on each side and then when you push it on as long as you’re able to pull the straw out after the clip is set in place there should be no scratch marks. And it might be possible when taking a clip off to first somehow slide a straw onto each side before pulling it off. I just noticed when you put the new tactical ring on there left those marks , which is such a shame for such a beautiful light, even though it will be covered up.
😇
I wish they had done the micro arc oxidation the same way as this one on the new flat flashlight. This one is a little bit different. It’s more marbly and looks like a rock.. I’m really thinking about getting one of these.
I can not boost your shopping The rotary switch on the GL1 is heavy and difficult to use It's like mixing a bucket of highly viscous oil And the tail switch makes a creaking noise and feels hard as if it is not lubricated (once you push it in, the hardness goes away, but after a while, it gets hard again) I don't know if this is an individual difference or if it is common
@@16traces 🤔 Sounds like maybe you got a defective one. I got a microtech OTF once and the button was ridiculously hard to move. It had to be sent in for a fix. I’m still tempted to pick one up and return it if it’s like that. Thanks for the heads up
Can someone help. I have 2 great nitecore flashlights. The SRT7i and the P23i. Now is it my imagination to why does it seems the P23i seems more brighter, stronger than the SRT7i? I can hold the 23 and use the strobe toward the palm of my hand and do the same thing with the SRT7i and i notice the 7 is weaker ( not as blinding ) than the 23. Can you do the same test. I just want to know if it's normal or maybe something is wrong with the 7. Any help or feedbacks would be very appreciated. Again, Nitecore products are awesome. I solely use my light for self defence and i still can't decide which one to carry on my belt all the time. Thanks.
Probably normal I think it's the angle of illumination and the way the LEDs on the SRT7i light up ruclips.net/video/n8oOwycaaIE/видео.htmlsi=ozEgCrPKH1tsLBD9&t=572 I agree that the P23i seems to have a snappier strobe
Thank you so much with that good information. Yes on your video, the LED comes on slower, that is strange. I agree, the P23i strobe way more snappier and seems more punch ( brighter ) . Me i use it solely for self defence and between the 2, the 23 seems a better choice for that purpose and not as clumsy and heavy. I use a quick draw holster on my belt. But the SRT7i is still a very good light but on the 7, i notice sometime when you press the button to turn it on , it will flicker and then it goes out. You have to hit the switch again and it will stay on. It does that once in a while. My P23i is totally flawless. Great light all around. @@16traces
Just get to the light already!
Damn that’s a good light. Glad I ordered this one.
☺
Thanks for showing chief, if you or anyone else here can advise that if I buy the MH25 PRO & the SRT7i from a store other than the so called 'Official Nitecore Store' on Aliexpress will I be getting the Original/OEM L.E.D's that NITECORE actually fit into these Torches ?
You mean you don't want to buy a fake?
Yeah, nobody wants a fake, just curious to know if anyone has heard of the quality led's being replaced with cheap led's in the some of the higher end brand flashlights being sold online.. @@16traces
I have been thinking about the new Olight javolot and the edc35, im not sure which to choose. from my understanding the Turbo on the EDC 35 does not last very long and same with the search. I watched a different video and saw that the high mode lasts closer to 1.5 hours than the started 4 hours of run time... so im not really sure anymore
Javelot and EDC35 seem to have different product concepts Which product you choose depends on what kind of specifications you are looking for
That glove , what is that .
Yes, these are gloves
Nitecore, please listen to your customers and put a dual purpose clip on these lights!! We need to be able to clip them to our hats!!!
There is a little feedback says the EDC35’s lock and unlock button are easy to break 😢 How do you think bro😮
Mine hasn't shown any signs of breaking yet, so I don't see it as much of a problem Plus, if it breaks, it's a good excuse to buy a new flashlight😊
Do you think edc35 have more high CRI?
Almost the same value
Did edc35 color more close to green?
No, it didn't look too greenish
Will it work on MH25.
Which one do you prefer???
W2
Arent these yinding leds from aliexpress? I remember buying a batch from there
There is certainly some relationship between sysmax and yinding
@@16traces as far as I recall the wafers are from san'an. There can be different packaging companies tho.
Thank you for the beam shots, comparing the difference. It's what I'm looking for, so I can decide which model I'm going to acquire.
which one did you buy and why???
@@Xi_The_Dictator - I bought the MH12 Pro, because the battery is removable or user replaceable. Not like the EDC35 it's a none user replaceable battery. But I'm still thinking of acquiring the EDC35 too if Nitecore won't make a version that is user replaceable battery. I'm just giving enough time to wait for a while.
@@iramorales71 get the T9k pro
Nice video! Is it worth the money???
If you want a small, excellent LEP, it's worth the money A bit expensive though🥲
Blessed spill
How long will it deliver the full 3000?
Overheat Protection immediately reduces the brightness to protect the LEDs and the substrate However, you can get more than 2000lm brightness for about 1min 30sec
The most special FLASHLIGHT reView in the world........
The UI on my EDC35 is trash. The button makes the flash light glitch. Sometimes it won’t turn on or off after I quick press power on.. Do you have any issues with the EDC35?
This video is perfect tho. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I have the same problem with my EDC35🥲 That's why I don't really like lights that have one switch to do all the work
@@16traces I’ve been asking around and I think this is a very common problem. 🤬
Thank you for the beam shots 🙏🏼
Great video
at first it was confusing to operate.because of the haft and full press.
An that is clear comparison. Thank you :)
What is the best tactical flashlight for you? Which is your favorite light among all flashlights?
I like the P23i🙂
@@16tracesHello..i'm undecided, do you prefer nitecore p30,23i or srt7i or any other model, what else can I buy at this price, which is a flashlight with this power, what should I buy, you're good at this, your opinion is very important
@@16traces?
@@yigitmert4232 The answer depends on the application and the specifications you are looking for🤓 And I have some NITECORE and ACEBEAM tactical flashlights, but not many other brands
@@16traces let him throw it away, but let me see it up close,I want it to be solid, I want it to be used for many years, I want it to be high quality, I want it to be better to use..which of these two or which other model do you think nitecore is? :)
16:31 The moment the 9-core LED lights up
11:08 Mistake Charging Time / Approx. 3h 30min Correct Charging Time / Approx. 3h 10min
The Srt7i has a longer head and a deeper reflector making the light more defined and further throwing. It also has lockout and adjustable lumens down to ultra low at 1 lumen vs the 23i only goes down to 50. Both have strobe and turbo at 3K. The srt7i does have a more complex tailcap button system vs the p23i. In tac mode each button has a different preset setting giving you 4 momentary options thru full press and half press of the 2 buttons. If you’re good with memorizing settings and don’t mind the length and weight the tlr7i has more options but the p23i is more user friendly in my opinion. Nitecore does pretty decent videos of their functions and I find it easier than the manuals. I debated getting the srt7i but went with the p35i to go with my p23i. I still might get one someday since they all use the same battery. Also note that there is no pressure switch available for the srt7i if you are looking to mount it on a weapon platform. Check before you buy.
Damn dude.. thanks for the explanation!
Could you please describe the pressure switch.
Green tint is horrible. P23i looks more powerful
I got one of these today, but I didn't realize i accidentally ordered the cool white version, so now i gotta wait for the nichia version.
I'd strongly prefer cool white over neutral. Based on beam pics/vids I've seen of the Nichia option it's just too warm and dull for what I like in any light.
