hell yeah. I got my hands on a phase 2 for around 450€ also in a very good condition, no rust, maintenance done in time. just had one owner, fantastic little car, i love it :D
Just bought a Mk2 2004 Clio 182 for 2 grand. Couple of body bits needing done and wheels are needing changed but what a fun thing to drive! Bang for buck the old Clio's are great!
@11:40, that 3rd seat belt is actually really clever, not an afterthought at all and includes a lap strap. The tip goes to the left of the middle passenger into the grey connector, then the extra buckle goes over their lap, into the right one, so it becomes a 3-point. When not used, lift the metal tip against the roof as there's a little magnet that will prevent it from hanging. Not bad for a 1998 subcompact, huh ?
Does the gear stick have that mechanism where you have to lift that latch to bring it into reverse ? I test drived an 04 Clio which had that. Very tricky to get used to
250 euro?!?!? WOW... because of my pathetic 3rd world country tax system these go for at LEAST 4000 euros here and averaging a bit more... bloody hell...

She's a beauty
Looks a bargain at that money! Low mileage and pretty well looked after. Ideal town runabout.
Great highway cruiser too with the typical Reno suspension!

The dash offset is because it was made for left side driving
They fixed it on the facelifted models (which actually has a better build quality than on the post-2016 Clio 4!), by the way.
I love the clio nice solid comfortable car , could you do the phase 2 !
Ahh! I had no idea that was the offset dash reason. Yep I’ll certainly buy one at stage and pop a review up here. Thanks for the comments
The Twingo from the same generation is great too. But you won't find one for 250 that's for sure.
That’s absolutely lovely
