If you mean pieces 71 and 72, than you just have to bend piece 72 on the connected part 90°. The long straight part into the curved form like the other part, then join the two parts together. The smaller parts always 90°. Part 71 just bend it a bit so that is has the curved form of the other piece und insert the tabs in the slots and then join it with the tabs to the ship. I hope this could help you.
It depends on your skills if you want to do this as a newbie, maybe you should do a few models before you try this. I really can't tell you how many hours you need for the build because everyone builds differently fast. I can't say how many hours I needed because I only work on my models a short time a day and I have to make a lot of fotos for the video.
I did 1 hour a night or whatever was needed to finish a section and I did that for 10 nights, although it was never really an hour, You can get carried away but it is no joke, u rush or sit down to do it with the wrong mindset forget it…. Amazing when done
