I’m sure a lot of you out there have a hard time sleeping or falling asleep (myself included), so I made a hour and a half long with relaxing n64 music with some rain sound effects. It’s possible that the video might get taken down, but hopefully this helps some of you out there.
I tried to find the most relaxing songs from Nintendo 64 games. I hope this helps!

I’m 30 seconds in and I’m hearing my parents argue with the nice pitter patter of rain outside, Meanwhile I’m trying to figure out how to play Dk 64. Ah childhood.
I can't explain it... but the sound of rain combined with the memorable sounds of games that I would often leave running on my 12 inch tv as a child just....calms me. It helps me fall asleep, but listening to this as I drive or even now, as I have my headphones in, and I'm just relaxing on my computer, I just feel "at home"... thank you for putting this on youtube. from the bottom of my heart.

The first one is a Mario 64 theme, an aquatic world in the first level
I thought the first one is from Donkey Kong 64? I definitely recognize it because I love that game so much. I never beat it
I was feeling anxious on midnight and couldn't sleep, so I gave this video a try. It kinda didn't work during the first minutes, but I didn't give up and kept listening to clear my mind. It took me a whole hour, but it ultimately worked and I was able to sleep.
Thank you so much for this, I'm a 90s and 2000s kid and the Nintendo 64 is my favorite console of all times.

Holy cow, I was just farming on D2 with this playing in the background zoning in and out of it, but when the kirby 64 theme hit it ripped my soul right back to my childhood. Good times man.
I love the rain effect added. There are a load of these compilations online, but the rain really makes it. I think, for me, gaming was something you did when it was too rainy outside so you came in and put the N64 on. So this is perfect.
I tune into this alot while working. Thanks for the lovely collection of tracks.

Waking up at 5am after a sleep-over in the middle of the week with my bestie to get two hours of Golden Eye before school. The feeling that came from playing Super Mario 64 for the first time after receiving the N64. The challenging games. The bliss and ease of childhood. Wow.

Ok, so I'm putting it out there and saying I LOVE the extended 1AM(Snow) - so hypnotic and relaxing. Also, educational as I had absolutely no idea there was an animal crossing game on N64!

Actually the original one on Gamecube WAS initially on N64, but it got ported over to Gamecube

@@McBurgerDeluxe Hell yeah! I love listening to Lo-Fi and synth wave playlists on here while I'm cleaning and stuff. Every relaxing N64 playlist on here that I saw, either had songs that just weren't really calm and relaxing or just had random songs, so I spent a few hours and found songs I thought were calming and relaxing lol
My favorite part is when the Animal Forest Snow music loops for 3.5 hours

Rainbow Castle is an entire mood.
Never had an N64 growing up. At least, not really. I was born in '03 so I wasn't even around when it was new or concurrent either. *but* when my family and I were living relatively skint post 2008 I was given a laptop in 2009/2010, a Samsung R20. I loved my games, but my parents were understandably strict on what I could and couldn't play and when and when not I could. I wasn't really allowed anything new. because A: it was expensive and B: I was too young. So my dad got me an N64 emulator on my R20 to give me something to play. Along with iirc a NES and SNES one too. But the N64 one was the emulator I remember the clearest. I beat SM64 after a few weeks.(on just the keyboard too. No gamepad) something to this day I still haven't been able to re do. I also completed Smash Bros '99 I had Mario Party 1 and 2 and I *think* Kirby as well..? My memory is understandably a bit fuzzy around what games I did and didn't play. But I want to play those games again properly so I'm hoping to get an N64 at some point to play these games again. I do envy the people that were around when these consoles were new. the Mid/Late 90s and early 2000s was definitely a high point for video games.
