heres a really good top tip when your opening up the field so when you do the first time round the field what you should do is put the right grooper down or what ever one is closest to the heage so that when the tedder or the rake comes to go round it keeps them out of the heage and as well if your mowing through a wet bit you can group the sword that is closest to the headge onto the sword beside it so when the rake comes you can get some grass out of the wet bit its the same when your mowing beside a telegraph pole you can drop the grooper that is closest to it and it keeps everything away from opsticles basicly
Good idea, I noticed Ifarm's contractor with the Fendt & Claas Butterfly's uses the grouper on the outside cut to spread the grass in.
@@charlesnewman1613 Well spotted
Nice one Phil
The auto steer must be a great job when Liv is with you
You know yourself 😉
Hell of a crop of grass as the funking farmer says love the channel ❤️
More importantly, did you damage the piece of wood? 😂
Great to see your grass silage getting put up.
Always enjoy your videos Phil keep up the good work
You would make a good rab c nesbit there good to see the first cut going down after the rain
I hope you get some new pipes free of charge, for the injury compensation! 😉
Bet there was sawdust when that stick hit 😂 that's terrible hardship having to lean forward to see your temp and fuel gauge Phil did you leave Liv in the 99 all night
Ah the farming can be quite open to injury & its so important to asess everything for safety particularly that ye have so much machinery. Lot of grass cut there in a short time & Bro really looked thrilled to be riding shotgun. Keep 'er Lit.
I whould mow it in Daylight because any problems you can see what your doing to Fix it
A few years ago I hit my head foo some steel and I have to get 16 staples so I know ur pain phil
Love the hair band Phil. Think liv was right mow during daylight . Bd handy though if you had an old mower you didnt care about damaging for new ground. I think that bang on the head made you a bit giddy 😂😂 at the start of the vid.
Why are you still working with out an exhaust system⚠
I always leave the sketchy fields to last , doesnt matter day or night you still cant see whats on the ground at the base of the crop
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊
Get some rest , you seem to spend as much time working in the dark as daylight !! You've a good one in Liv !! Get her home.👍
Fun fact- the stinging nettle is a very nutritious plant.
Yer tractor is a fair star ship with all the info screens 😂.. 👌.. think you could do a tractor spotting vid.... In there natural habit 😅.. stay safe 🏴
Phil mite have had sum pain killers lol
I think Phil and the family are great workers and they have to be.
Good stuff
Hard hats all round ⛑️.
I would mow it in the daylight so you can see what you are doing, avoiding telegraph poles etc.
Looks like cloonart, have land there. Did u get through the drive thru with the butterfly
Well come ji
Omg your bro looks so much like dad unreal and think he's got same sympathy like your dad has aswell crack on phil ballet school later 🤣🤣👍👍👍👍
Nice video, I think that you were right to mow it in daylight.

I have hayfever i almast died 3 days ago while i was mowing one side window was opend and that was enough to have sweld eyes throat start cloasing and start throwing up. Not very funny evening of mowing and other day raking
It’s shocking lad . I used to suffer with it too baling hay used to be the worst
Farmer Phil-The Warrior edition 😂
I don't know why you remain me of Bab C Nesbitt 😂 sorry Phil
😂
Hi farmer Phil that was a great job cutting your sliage 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Phil, How long did it take you to mow the 38 acer field with 1 trail and or 2 trail mowers ?
Remind me abit of rab nesbitt with that bandage 😂
Class🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎👌
You must be wrong Phill no way you can be 3 weeks later, did you not hear the news its been the hottest May and spring since records began, have you heard such rubbish in your life, your lucky that got you on the head if it had hit you any where else it could have been more serious 😂, looks a fair crop of grass you dropping some grass with each pass, enjoyed the video thanks for sharing, stay lucky
Temperature and rain are different things you know!
@@cathaloc who mentioned rain isn't been that cold nearly every one we know have had their heating on what's that got to do with rain, you swallow that BS if you like but the people with brains and can think for themselves know the truth
You are spot on George. Unfortunately common sense is not so common these days
Rab C Stewart 😂
great video once again. how are the samaze mowers skids and ware parts holding up and how often would you have to replace them? was curious as we are looking into different mower options ourselves
Haven’t had to replace them yet anyways seem to be wearing well
Good one Phil long hours
It there was wood 🪱 worm in the timber they got some fright...Patrick 135 Ztr 8111
10 hours mall
When you say 1 bag of urea to the acre, how big is your bag, because our bags are 600kg and I think 600kg a acre would kill the grass,
When we talk bags we mean 50kg bags
I know it's not something you seen coming but that's what happens on farms
Be careful Phil as always stay safe and keep alive
😀🚜👍
12 hours farmer Phil Stewart
Farmer Phil I meet u at the ploughing match remember me
You need to ban passengers with mobile phones
Mow it with the john deere.
Did bro lamp ya?
@theoracle8560
Why don't you go do some work instead of commenting on what a man out working hard is eating.
Your mirror guard is near gone
🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪💪💪👍👍
Bro didn't look to impressed!
Is the piece of timber ok
That one friend lol
Great video Phil. Bro did a good job keeping an eye on you 😂. Enjoyed watching. 😂😂
Do you want to be married or wright. That's the question 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You could say you were using your head.
Pretty hair band that is....lol
Great video
👍
Love the Japanese banzai headband Phil it could catch on fire
Have Samasz any rake for you to trial Phil ! Timmy sort the man out 👍🏻
Sound was great when you were with Brendan on the rake @13.20
Good Job Philip
Good one Phil, that was a lot of silage put down. It's a big job doing your own and keeping up with other jobs they are long hard days you put in hope your head feels better! see you in the next one.
Good video there Phil, don’t think I’ve seen your bro with so much enthusiasm and,, and excitement😜! Hope all goes well for you throughout the harvest .

Be careful farmer Phil! Bro doesn't realize how lucky he is, to have a great brother like you.😊 Hope your head injury feels better tomorrow.♥️
Great Video Farmer Phil, thanks for sharing
Your diet is embarrassing. Burgers, chips and coke 24/7/365, you won’t see 60 if you don’t do something about it.
Get the salads and green tea beat into for long days phil😂
You must be stalking him to know what he eats 24/7 365 days of the year 😂
Have you not seen the parts of his videos when he is in his own house where he eats rice cakes & tea/coffee. Plus running after cattle all week you burn it off
you could have cut it earlier if it only got one bag of urea
