- HL Coins Land is my original SMB Hack made several years ago, this TAS I made completes the whole 4 worlds in almost the shortest time possible. The most interesting parts are probably the bowser fights, don't miss them!

What I can't get my head around, is how Mario jumps thru the wall? I've tried this so many times while playing this game but I can't pull it off, am I missing something here? Can anyone let me in on this please?

It's a TAS only trick. I'm mean you can do it. You just need to hit a subpixel perfect spot on a block, then turn left and jump the frame you enter the block. It's pretty much all luck based.
It requires very precise commands AND your subpixel value should be correct for clipping into the walls. There is a video that explains it along with how the SMB1 World Record was achieved. It is on a channel called Bismuth.

Why are coin important
As you barely get enough coins to complete the level, as you only have 1 life and are forced to die in the 3rd stages, so you must accumulate coins to get extra lives.
