Nope. This is technically a SMB1 hack : - The ROM is a .nes file, not a .fds file. - When you rescue a Toad, you don't get extra points from the timer. - And the Game Over screen has no menu.
Then how do you explain this? : 10:21 If it was a SMB2 hack, my 191 remaining seconds should give me extra points after rescuing a Toad. But that didn't happen here...
Diddy64wii yes but like the Japanese SMB2 it had red piranha plants it gave you the option of playing as either Mario or Luigi and the animation was Japanese SMB2 animation
Diddy64wii then why does it have the option of playing as either Mario or Luigi and have red piranha plants and the clouds have smiley faces all aspects of the Japanese SMB2 none of that is in SMB1 well I will say this I do have a multi-game cart where is does have SMB1 on it with the Japanese SMB2 animations but that’s a special circumstance but normally the clouds don’t have smiley faces and there are no red Piranha plants and you can’t choose to play as Mario or Luigi but in your game it has all that which leads me to believe that it’s a hack of the Japanese SMB2 oh yeah and bloopers out of the water also an aspect of the Japanese SMB2
@@michaelsegal3558 You can easily modify graphics on a SMB1 level editor. (Just take a look at the abysmal amount of sprite hacks released since the late 90's). And with a little bit of programming skills, you can also modify enemy behaviors.
the hack was actually from SMB2 (Japan)
I love the idea tho... It's just good and giving a nightmare at the same time
I love this kind of crazy hacks.
