Absolutely agree with you. And I would add that she is not vulgar or provocative. She doesn't need to be half-naked or over-painted like some artists of our time to be radiant.
She is beautiful, sensual, sexy, intelligent, confident, funny, has nice beliefs and principles.
And I have the impression that she has her foot on the ground and that she leads a "normal", balanced life, she is not in excess. She seems very natural and family oriented.

I like that she doesn't follow beauty trends. She uses her wild curls now (where everybody wants super straight plastifiedl ooking hair), and kept her face natural, not huge lips, eye surgery, dramatic brows. not trying to FOLLOW any trend on a body to keep up, she just adapts her music and not her body.
She was always slender and kept her face as it is.
She seems so down to earth and sweet! This was fun little sit down, thanks for sharing!

Probably being from a poorer and troubled country like Colombia gives people from there a different perspective on life, preventing them from being fake all the time like most westerners.

Though she became famous with pop videos, she's really a rock chick at heart like when she used to wear those signature shredded pants and jam barefoot
She totally isn't. Basically in the 90s she tried and it was excessive until like 2003 then she slowly took all that make up away and she keeps herself pretty much natural. Of course she uses makeup for her videos, tours, photoshoots, red carpets etc but even then she tries to keep it natural and nude

It is possible she did all that in one day but Shakira always wears the same clothing... She literally uses the same pink shirt when she plays tennis and that blue t shirt she is wearing here she wore it to so many places too

It's not that spf 20 works for 20 minutes. It means that the the sunblock helps to multiply the usual time you can stay out in the sun without getting burned by 20. At least, that's what I always heard...
+Ariane Louise yeah basically spf20 protects ur skin 20 times more from the sun vs when u dont have suncreen on....
you might be right as well but I was told that it was the amount of time before you are burned, so you are protected/it takes 20 mins longer before you burn. but maybe it means multiple things x
+Iona D i don't know but I wear spf 20 and have never gotten burned before....probably cuz I have a darker skin tone
+Ariane Louise One of my tutors at uni has done a lot of research surrounding skin cancer and tanning culture and was saying that SPF is exactly what you've said.
basically:
SPF20=20 x how long it normally takes you to burn (say 10mins)
=200mins of protection (or 3hours 20mins)
So SPF 100 is actually kind of pointless, because once it's past about SPF30 you sweat it off/rub it off which is the real reason why you should reapply every 2-4 hours

She's so beautiful! I've been listening to her music my whole life, my parents brought back from their honeymoon in Costa Rica her first record in the form of a cassette, 19 years ago!
