Love the concept and color selection. Starting to get worried about where you have been. Glad you and Jonah are doing fine! Lots of hard work- but well worth it!
Js. flagstone patio or sidewalk needs to have motor, the stone will move and weeds will grow in between the stones. I would use a 1 1/2 to 2inch thick stone, set in grey motor. A diamond blade to cut your stone and set them perfect to each other. Finished with white masonry cement for the grout. Thats how i woud do the flagstone.
I have also used the upside down sod squares like bricks to build some raised beds. I did have to cover them with landscape fabric because Bermuda rhizomes are very resilient, but it worked great and was super cost efficient.!
What would happen if I just laid the flagstone on the grass? I’m 59 years old and I have a very bad back and both my knees have been replaced. Getting on my knees is out of question. I sit on a wagon to garden. Been waiting to do the path for a long time
Got any grandkids or neighborhood kids? If you don't dig it down it'll just sit, potentially unevenly, on the ground, eventually over the years it might sink into the soil but probably not well.
What is going in between the flagstone? Pea gravel?? sand?? Will there be an 'edging' to keep grass out? I am working on my own 'path'..will be using pea gravel between the stones.
I’m about to do this in my backyard, but I was thinking of renting a sod cutter from Home Depot. Would that have been more work for you to do it with the sod cutter than hand shoveling it out? I’m just trying to make it as easy as possible for me being a female doing it by myself.
Just wasted all that time for a quick 30 second clip at the very end for a job thats not even finished. Sod on top the grass to pick up later? Just get it out from the rip instead of working twice. Looks good, just unfinished. Next time just get right to your tutorial and finish your project
Would love to see a follow-up once that thyme matures. Great job!
Haha “are you Youtubin’?” I like how he used that as a verb.
Wow you’re making the value of that house go up real fast 👍
The curves and loose structure works so well against the solid fence and building. Great job!
Looks Nice! I like how you are keeping us informed on your work. It is fun seeing the yard come together and really isn't that hard.
Great job! Looks beautiful! Blessings
Very nice looking. Good job Benj and Jonah

Nice! How much does something like this cost to get it done with labor. Approx?

HUH, nothing to lock them in place, like paver sand?
So what did you do to finish this? Just used dirt to fill in all the nooks and crannies?
Id like to do this simple type but dont want plants in between other options?
Man where are you located?
How can we see the final result with the thyme?
Real cool. Didn’t even show how to finish it. The fuck.
How much should I charge for a 10x10 like that

We used soil and she will be planing thyme.

Yes I’d recommend a sod cutter! That would make it a whole lot easier. Blessings!
@@gardenguychannel ok thank you very much!

Haha yep
Did I here you say the owner is going to fill in around stone with thyme?
Yes!
Us woman call it hand crocheting lol
Sorry it's a thumb down for me..
No problem! Would love feedback though. What makes it a thumb down for ya?
