I love this manager. Got to stick with him and let him fix us. Really believe he's the right guy at the right time. Everyone needs to ease down and get a grip. Transition period is exactly that. Hes changing this club for the better and the future will be bright!!

I just think you didn't have your attention on the right thing. That win is going to be a catalyst. It showed the team that they can overcome adversity. It also showed them that win, lose, or draw, feckless fans are fickle. Every game is Spurs vs. Opposing team, their fans, media, and Spurs fans. They will now become more inner-directed and fight harder for each other.

Just reading some of the comments here and on other Spurs forums. I’ve been supporting Spurs since Ange joined (Celtic supporter) and I have come to the educated conclusion that a lot of Spurs fans really do live up the hype of being a bunch of cu*** 😂.

One thing Ange said which gets a bit lost sometimes is he does a lot of his work for the long-term.
That might seem straight forward, but actually it’s much easier to coach for right now.
He has brought in players who will play for the club for at least 5+ years. That means they are younger and are going to need training and shaping as players. If you get an older player you can more easily plug them into position and tell them to go for it. Younger players take more work.
People get angry about him making 8 changes in the Cup game. But Ange has to monitor
- the squad players have played together and are sharp enough,
- that the first 11 don’t burn out by the end of the year and are still able to be sharp in the last few months
- all the players need to be tracked to reduce chances of injuries eg Dom Solanke is coming back from an injury that’s why Ange took him off early, so he doesn’t re-injure himself.
He could have put on our first team and probably had a more comfortable win. It would have made his own popularity higher. But it wouldn’t be the right thing for the team longterm. We would be feeling it by the back end of the season.
What is the longest he has ever been at a Club??
@@mikeroddy7944 I think the Australian national team he was there for 4 years and won the Asian Cup, qualified for a World Cup. South Melbourne was there for 5 years and won 2 x National Titles.
Long before Coventry game he said about that final third making sure we put games away yet against Coventry they couldn't even get a shot off towards goal so what is he actually doing to create goals. Goals win matches not possession if you aren't shooting at the goal you're not going to win a football match it's very basic stuff. Efforts on goal. Where are they???? In fact it's been an ongoing factor since Harry Kane was at the club. Often going an hour or more without a shot on goal. Wtf

Exactly! I couldn't agree more, why the hell don't our players take more shots ffs-?? I don't understand their apprehensive to shoot the damn ball more often, it's so frustrating to see all of them constantly pass sideways and back and forth trying to find the perfect opening to feed someone the ball when there aren't as many spaces to do so because they take to damn long to bring the ball down the pitch ffs! So by the time they get the ball down the pitch defenses have had time to set up and so they waste their time passing the ball around and for the most part act afraid to shoot the ball!!!
It's freaking crazy as shit, this slow moving the ball out from the back it slows the attack way down and limits our opportunities to take shots quicker. But their is no excuse to not take more shots from outside the box, when we do it at least gives us more chances to score.

What are we supposed to manage success against, surely it has to be a big enough sample size, my main concern is that we have not improved from the back end of last season, of course I want him to succeed i just feel like he’s heads gone and he looks like a man on borrowed time, seems like they’re isn’t any sort of enthusiasm I watch him on the touch line and it worries me!
