I finally bought the little furnace because I can have one spoonful melting while pouring another. I don't care much for the wicked sticks because I had soot off the wicks sometimes.Fun video!
So I would suggest getting a set of stainless steel measuring spoons to use honestly. They’re gonna last longer and hold more. That’s what i use for melting my wax. I do have a couple cheap spoons too, but my favorite is my 1 teaspoon measuring spoon.
This took me way back! Like 40 years! I have 2 sets from when I was 13 years old and writing my relatives and pen pals, the Hallmark stores used to sell them. I like the wicked wax sticks, so much easier and less waste.
Fun fact: your quill pen is probably a goose’s primary flight feather. They literally look like that, and they little fibery bits do separate and interlock again if they’re not too damaged. I had a friend with geese growing up.
It would be very helpful to link or list in the description box what sites you got the stamps from. Trying to pause and rewind to catch the name of the site is v annoying.
Thanks for this video! :) I'm just getting into this hobby and seeing it's a rabbit hole! LOL I may try to go with Ali Express. Yes, it's a wait, but seems quite cost-efficient! :)
I don't include them bc with AE it's almost impossible to find some of the "vendors" or they change their name or close. It's not worth my time...especially with this video, it's pretty old. That's probably why you couldn't find them.
@@VianneyCreates Thanks for your quick response. I'm just getting started in this wax seal stamping and I'm trying to research everything I can including where to get supplies. I ordered a kit from Amazon. I can't wait to get it. Looks like fun. Thanks again! 😊
Very informative video! What is the name of the store (Disel, Dysal, ???) where you bought your glue gun and the black & white wax sticks for it? Thanks.
So, I would normally apply it right to the envelope. But if you have to make a lot for invitations or just testing something out, you can adhere them with a good glue. LIke Beacons 3-in-1 or any strong glue.
I would be very careful if you choose to buy the wooden wax furnaces. There are many stories about those catching on fire when used. I know you can find metal ones that hold the spoon on amazon so I’m sure they have some on AliExpress. It’s was safer and you can clean any wax off the metal easier because it can be highly flammable
You spent all that on the stamps themselves but wouldn’t get the furnace for a few dollars? 😂 our mentality is toooo similar lol. Also thanks so much for all of this detail. You even showed the BIC markers. Girl yes!
I know? They should allow for faster delivery. Luckily, a lot of these items came in pretty quickly for AE...I did just get one wax seal stamp head in yesterday that I ordered on August 3, though!!
Sailor Moon? I have that seal and always wondered what it is exactly. I bought it thinking it was a fairy, but on closer inspection there aren't wings. I will have to look up what Sailor Moon is. On the seal, is she on a staff or using a staff?
You need to use at least five of those wax beads in order to get a good rim around your seal. you are not using enough wax. at this rate you’re just going to get half seals and part seals and in the long run you’re just wasting money so don’t skimp on your wax

I see what you mean about less waste. I like using the little spoon, but quite a bit stays in the spoon. (:
Ok im so glad you mention the stores cause I wanted to buy some and knowing where you got them was a big help! Thank you!
I wish I had a wax seal set because that video was definitely satisfying
Awww, thank you!
Hi
I really really like this especially with the glue gun, colored glue sticks and metallic pens...this was a great video..thanks!!!
Thank you so much! I know it was a long one, but I was having a lot of fun with it!!
This was super helpful and fascinating to watch! You also have a very lovely voice to listen to!
Oh, wow, thank you!!
I made a holder outta an old tuna can it works great! I know this video is older but I’m new to wax it’s soo much fun!!
This is such a fascinating video and demo. I adore all of the stamps and how detailed they are. Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings.
Thanks so much, I had a lot of fun with this one! I hope to incorporate the stamps into my cardmaking!
Love ur haul. The "wax" that burns has plastic in it.
TYSM!
I totally recommend the little stove/furnace/fire pot that holds the candle and the spoon. You just set and do something else! No babysitting.
Yes, I just got one a couple of months back and it's amazing!! Melts without babysitting and no soot!!!! TYSM!

Cool! TYSM for the info!
@@VianneyCreates you’re welcome!
Fantastic video! I love seeing all the comparisons on the wax and seals.
Happy to help! I had only ever used the wax sticks, so was curious to try out the other types.
Ooooh! Pretty! I always wanted to do this! Thank you for this fun video!💫⚡️🌝
I love it so much! TY!

Have fun! It can be a huge rabbit hole! (:
I just bought today a wax stamp kit from amazon and i am so excited. Your video is so cool and i love it!!!
Yay! Thank you! It's such a fun thing to get into, and pretty easy! I hope you love it. (:
With the items you can also use indented ones
Do you have a tutorial for how to understand how to order from AliExpress?????..
Hi I've watched other videos and they put the stamp on ice before putting it in the sealing wax TFS
For what? LOL!! I've been using wax seals for almost three decades and I assure you...that's not necessary. Couldn't hurt, I suppose! TYSM!!
@@VianneyCreates I guess they say you can remove them easily, have a nice day stay safe and well.
you just saved me a ton of money. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
You can clean out your glue gun by running a couple regular glue sticks through afterwards.
Thank you!
Instead of unplugging the gun u can pull the stick back a bit and it’ll retreat.
Love the video! Miss your Aliexpress hauls ❤️
Thank you so much!!
I wish you would have listed where you purchased your wax seals and supplies. None of these names you mentioned I could bring up in the search!

@@VianneyCreates oh I know. I can see that happening for sure. Lol. Thx
You can find that kit on amazon for pretty cheap. If y'all wanna go crazy though Artisaire is pretty dope.
TY!
@@VianneyCreates no problem, loved your video btw❤!
Letterseals is also nice! I love their glue gun wax sticks.
Exciting video thanks for sharing
That's so kind, thank you!

I used to use sealing wax a long time ago. Nice to see it around now. What area of Hobby Lobby did you get that storage case? I love it.
It's such a great case. I got it in the area where they have tubs and organization type things. Not with any particular craft.
VianneyCreates Thanks.
Yassssss! Love your AliExpress hauls :)
I love them, too! LOL! TY!
Before I watch I must say I have never seen you post an almost an hour video, man I wish I was at home instead of work right now
LOL!! This one got away from me!! (:
So very helpful! Thank you👍🏻💕
Where did you get the zodiac one?
Very interesting video Vianney! How would you adhere it to your envelope?
So, I would normally apply it right to the envelope. But if you have to make a lot for invitations or just testing something out, you can adhere them with a good glue. LIke Beacons 3-in-1 or any strong glue.
VianneyCreates ok great! Might give this a try. I had a seal made up with my name, address that I use for correspondence, but this is kinds cool!

VianneyCreates I love this video. It gave me so many ideas of items I wants to get and a good price range to look for.
Piexels ASMR you’re so welcome. I have a cute metal one that looks like a deer.
Piexels ASMR mine doesn’t hold the candle, only the spoon. I just place the candle on the table and stand the deer over it
Piexels ASMR thats so awesome! I love mine. Just also remember to clean up any wax that’s stuck to the metal because that can be flammable too.
Where can I find all these stores?
On AliExpress.
great video
Thanks!
These are awesome
I love them! Can't wait for the Harry Potter ones!
does anyone have links to the store she reference. Google is not very helpful right now.
How fun. The glue one surprised me. Huh. I love that zodiac one, it imprinted beautify. Great designs, who knew. Hugz
The zodiac one is so gorgeous! It was the most expensive one I bought, but well worth it!! TY!

What is the material she pours it on called
It's a non-stick craft mat...there are tons of them on the market.

Sailor Moon is a cutey! I haven't looked super closely but she is probably just holding it...
