6:45 - "he don't seem too happy right now, ya'll feeling that?" Yeah, I did feel that. though, it's due to him being drained from rehearsals, and having insomnia, causing him to be depressed. I really felt a sad energy when I was watching this scene. also when at the end credits, the Heal The World rehearsal was played in the background as an extra, after the credits were finished, I felt like someone had died.. which, in fact he did die after that rehearsal. :(

I always felt that sadness was, at least in part, related to the medley bringing up a lot of memories. Those early Jackson 5 years weren't all that happy, to say the least. Also, as I recall, in the documentary, MJ sat at the front of the stage after one of the TWYMMF rehearsals (which he narrated rather than sing) and wept. Someone was comforting him; it was kind of dark, so it was hard to see exactly what was happening, other than the fact that he seemed so lost and in emotional pain.

Folks have to recall this was rehearsal and MJ was doing this at Staples Center for a month straight, every day, without real sleep, but giving it his all even if the cameras didn't catch it. He was saving everything for the tour schedule because it was going to be super exhausting for anyone. Especially a 50-year-old man suffering issues but always and only the perfectionist. Thank you for reacting to this, brother.
