If you haven't seen the Clear night performance of 'Monochrome' yet make a point of finding it - and there is a very special moment in that when Su calls Moametal and Momometal over to her by name. And I'm revisiting BABYMETAL Returns and also BABYMETAL Begins (Black and Clear Night) Blu-rays this evening. I also recommend getting the Blu-rays (probably my favorite so far!). "MAYA" is one of my favorite songs from The Other ONE (I'm starting to believe that I have too many favorites from that album, haha...). That riff really pleases the basic metalhead inside me. It's impossible not to headbang to that. 🤘 And I was lucky enough to experience it live earlier this month in Madrid. And yes, we expect the "Momobanger" at some point during the two Legend-MM shows. The performance in the tours was different from this video filmed on Day-1 (April 1) in Yokohama when the performance had been done right before the dawn of newly born BABYMETAL with Momometal. So Moa is the only co-singer with mic to scream "say my name". As an eyewitness at the venue, I can say Western Kami Band : Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint did amazing job to play this heavy sound 😍 (Ryan replaced in USA as a bassist) Regarding "Maya", Su said in an interview "The lyrics in English 'How would you know ... is all an illusion' is not the kind of expression that BABYMETAL have had in the past." She added " When it comes to sound, I like a part where my voice seem to fade into fog but it does exist still there" [source: magazine PMC vol. 27 page 40] Our queen has grown up into a lady with a philosophical viewpoint, I guess.
