I've never really thought of this ship as a possibility before now, but god damn this makes it so adorable!
I can see how some may ship Surge and Amy. But I once considered Surge and Shadow. But then I thought, their personalities are pretty different. They both went through the same thing, but Shadow is more calm and introverted. While Surge is a bold, energetic, extrovert. I can see Shadow becoming more of a reluctant mentor to Surge if they meet. Why mentor? They have different powers, but her electric powers and speed aren’t unlike Shadow’s powers. He could also teach Surge how to restrain and use her anger. Instead of becoming consumed with rage, letting her despair spiral into wrath. Shadow knows a thing or two about that. He probably has the best chance than anyone to get through to, and reform this chaotic duo.

Also in sonic is multiverse and different timelines exist so this could be canon in the infinite amount of timelines and by could be I mean it is also why you should make it canon that their are different timelines in shows cause that means any art drawn ships or anything are canon because thousands of infinite possibilities

So this is canon because thanks to sonic having multiple different timelines infinite universe archie sonic could be canon even things like this are canon because the multiverse is infinite just like timelines so any show that has a canon multiverse and different timelines means anything the fans want to can be considered canon because infinite possibilities

The Funniest part of all is how surge is meant to be "sonic, but evil"(from my understanding anyway, i haven't read the comic), it's like how Loki falls in love with a female version of himself.

I love this ship cause it could give sonic a partner that might actually enjoy running and being free as much as him. He needs someone who can keep up and even test his limits, but also someone who doesn’t mind if Sonic does his own thing.Surge wants to be free of her programing and free to do whatever she wants. Maybe sonic would teach her she doesn’t have to hurt people to feel free (though that didn’t really work in the comics). And I just love Surge’s bratty attitude that compliments Sonic’s own sassy and carefree attitude.
I agree when you actually think about it I’m just think about everything these two begin. A couple makes a lot of sense.
