Relavant Catholic radio did a two hour documentary on St Charbel about 7 years ago. That was the first time I had heard about him and his life. I so look forward to hearing the lives of the saints. Thank you for providing these for us. St Charbel, pray 🙏 for us. Amen.

My patron saint 🙏🏼 whoever can go to his monastery in Annaya, should do it. It is a transformative experience, especially where he stayed as a hermit. Note for the author: It is not a dry desert climate. It is a four season climate. It is very green and lush all year round. It gets cold and snows during winter. Spring and fall seasons are lovely. In summer, it kind of gets hot but not really. Check the pictures and weather on google. The hermitage and monastery are up in the mountains at an elevation of 3,937 feet. His body was incorrupt just long enough for him to be declared a saint. And then it decayed or decomposed after he became a saint. I was hoping to hear more about his actual life and account. And meditation prayers similar to what relevant radio had done about 7 years ago.

Is it ok for a Roman Catholic to go to an eastern rite Mass ? Should or should not that Roman Catholic participate in communion at the Easter n rite Maronite Mass? There is a Maronite Church that follows the eastern rite that celebrates Saint Sharbel’s feast on the third Sunday of July . On Wikipedia , Saint Charbel/Sharbel has two feast days listed depending on which calendar you follow… Roman or Maronite (eastern rite?). Or would the Roman Catholic have to go to confession if he attended the Maronite eastern rite church to celebrate Saint Sharbel’s day?
