In this video we practice chi sau. Chi sau is a form of Wing Chun training used to improve sensitivity, test theory, techniques, and more, all in real-time with a training partner who "won't let you win".

Great lesson and breakdown. Thank you.
Your Welcome! Recently, I received a comment from everyone. Gaang Sau is used to defend. But I want to tell everyone that Gaang Sau can change Gaang Da. It means defen and attack at the same time.
@@doubledragontv4887
You are correct. All Wing Chun moves are addressing lines of force and are meant to "attack".
@@davidwilliams4837 Good understanding.Attack and defend at the same time.
@@doubledragontv4887
Exactly. We accept force and let their force redirect us [spine rotation] as we pressure and hit toward center. Our "defense" is merely a redirecting of lines of force for our attack. We do not "defend" passively; that is not Wing Chun. Everything we do is meant to disrupt "center" [tailbone, lower back and spine] until we take the "base" of our opponent.
Keep the great videos coming. I appreciate them. You are a credit to your sifu. I hope all is well!
@@davidwilliams4837 Thank you! A good understanding of Wing Chun. We will try our best!
