    It's neither creepy nor annoying!!
    You have to experience it in person to understand what I mean... sitting on the steps in the sun or lying on the grass (in the park behind the organ) in the shade, meditating or just dozing, is a one-of-a-kind experience!

      When I visited the organ , I saw lots of other tourists walking the promenade looking for the organ. They arrived, fussed about a bit then five minutes later you’d see them sitting down blissed out.

    The combination of both sounds of the waves and the organ are so soothing, it just made me feel sleepy! Seems like a zen place to hang around.

      We were there last week it was amazing. Everybody were in a meditativ state After a while, even our 10 years old son❤.

      It doeant go that far. Zadar is massive. Only like 15 of 80 000 people who live there maybe hear it if they open all the windows.

    I'm reading comments and most of people say it is creepy...point is,if you don't live by the sea you will never understand what this represents to domestic people...The sea is saying"I'm beautiful,but im also dangerous,big time dangerous...

      @Tz_mzU1 I think you meant, "...and now you have to _live_ with it." And I agree, noise pollution stinks, and it's everywhere. In particular, I feel sorry for the animals of the ocean. They can't escape us humans, even in their watery home. Sad.

    We visited Zahar in 2017 and experienced the Sea Organ. It is quite haunting. Such a beautiful waterfront, and our ship was small enough to dock very close to the Sea Organ. Travelled through the park and the small town just across the river....

      +mr. smallmountain - i once saw a technical descriptiopn of it - the musical pipes are going down, then bend towards the sea and are open under water - so when the waves come in, the water presses into these pipes, thus creating the air pressure to create the sounds - that´s why the music is in perfect harmony with the waves - absolutely amazing, no? i love it - if i lived somewhere near there, i would spend much time listening, haha... :-)

    I’ll be honest, I dont see it as creepy
    I’ve played piano for many years (not organ, but I have wanted to learn), and this just sounds like a piece that has contrasting parts. It’s no less beautiful, because somehow the contrasting parts work together to create something wonderful

      Theoretically yes, if given an unlimited amount of time no matter how small the chance is eventually it will play all possible combinations and tunes. That being said that rests entirely on if it can actually Make the notes required to play said song

      No. The organ is incapable of making certain sounds. It's sound making ability is finite. The Darude sandstorm sounds are synthetic. But if you're asking if Jesus create Darude sandstorm, then the answer is yes.

    This should be something used in a surreal or scary video game . Either you go there or it just plays in the background somewhere else. Something like Silent Hill or Lovecraftian, but not necessarily as scary.

    Anyone remember a few years ago, people were stumped over a sound around the world and they couldn’t figure out what it was or where it came from? I woke up to it earlier hours one night and this reminds me of it so much

      It is producing loud sound but nothing unpleasent. You can hear power of the sea.
