This is very helpful; clear tone with good narration. I appreciate your help and would love to learn python for ArcGIS from you. Now I can apply these techniques to my map- just wanted to see how to add latitude and longitude but learned so much more.
this is very very useful tutor starting from your voice and pronunciation it is amazing too!!! am really happy on your explanation as well as your understanding. thank you
I learned several things I didn't yet know.. like how to edit the elevation ramp numbers, and adding the grid. One thing I would suggest though would be after creating the hill shade, just remove the elevation ramp and set the colors of the hillshade to the same color ramp as the elevation was set to . Then you don't have to mess with transparency.
Hello Sir, I am beginner in using ArcGIS software, request you to please add files as link for what you teach in RUclips, it helps to relate and learn it much easier way. Anyways, still very much thankful for uploading so viewer friendly videos.
nice work, really appreciate this but you didn't need to do the hillshade additionally you could find the option in symbology tab by default 'use hillshade effect' just increase the number to 10 or 15 that will do for you
Enjoyed the tutorial. How can the legend be further adjusted so it can start at a specified number (eg 50). Also, is there a video explaining how use ArcGIS, as described here, but to present a coloured elevation of an area of the landscape, instead of a watershed. Cheers.
Excellent!!!! I have quick question: my elevations from a phantom 4 rtk drone are excellent but the numbers are not representative of exact elevation in real world but are correct in relation to areas of the field… how can I correct it to be correct for the actual elevation… so mine say it’s 65-60 feet and it should be around 148 ft… thank you!!
Sir i know it is asking for too much, but is it possible for you to add relevant practice files data for each of the respective videos in your channel in the description. Please.
Hi, you may want to check these tutorials: Downloading Digital Elevation Data (SRTM) from USGS EarthExplorer - ruclips.net/video/yYWdxExabHo/видео.html Derivation of Catchment and River Network - ruclips.net/video/Ww4JVP4uZi4/видео.html
Thank you very much for this helpful video. But I have a question. I exported XY coordinates to a QGIS and changed them to shapefile. But It cannot fit with the study site map-the points lay outside the study site map. What could be the reason?
1. A common but a simple mistake is mixing up x,y when assigning them to latitude and longitude fields. Make sure you have done it properly. 2. When creating the new shapefile, make sure the CRS information is properly selected
Hi. Good job on explaining :) I am wondering if you could show how to interpret and illustrate the data of surface river current of a single river in ArcGIS. I learn a lot from your video! :D

Can I ask how to prepare the available files (raw data)? Thank you very much.
Such as DEM, River network, and watershed. I want to understand how to create those files? Thank you very much.
