People just completely misconstrued what his issues were. He looks as advertised.
AR and Steichen will be one of the best QB HC combos in a couple years you can book it. AR will be special, the people who can’t see it are blind. He’s also so much further along from a processing perspective than most people thought. And Steichen has done a really good job easing AR into this offense and playing to his strengths. Awesome 👏👏 On the second play, at 03:58 it seems like WR14 was just getting open, while Richardson still had OL protection. Would it still be a lack of confidence throwing down the field, or just not the purpose of this play?
The defender gave up on him once he saw AR was going to throw. If AR even looked at that side of the field, I'd imagine 14 wouldn't have been as wide open, and it would have taken longer for his route to develop
Talk about a crazy difference coming from the Fields video to this one. ARich is night and day better than Fields right now and he's 1.25/1.5 games into his NFL career.
Good stuff! AR is gonna be a PROBLEM - also, I like the new intro, don’t do the slow motion thing though, just make it one smooth intro, then pause before you pop back on.
I am excited for the colts future with him. I'm a indiana native so colts are my team. And I am glad we got Richardson. I think he takes too many hits when he runs. But that can be fixed by him just sliding or going out if bounds. No reason to take big hits and risk concussions and injuries. So if he can fix that? I think the colts will have a great yr. Definitely should make playoffs.
It’s a tightrope with designed runs and keeping Richardson safe, I say keep him in the pocket early on, wait until we are competitive to use his legs a lot, I think we all know the colts aren’t contenders this years , within a couple years though I see us being a threat
having the right coaching staff and scheme for a "running QB" is so crucial for them to succeed.I have little hope for Justin Fields right now. it's almost like they want him to fail.
Needs to brace himself for the hit, you can see isn’t running as hard as he was on his first TD which allows him to get laid out. He probably wasn’t expecting the defensive player so close in as quickly as he did as well so definitely something to learn from going forward
lower the shoulder and brace or dive. he stood up tall and took the hit. need to get low and bang shoulders, give that blow back to the safty not take it all urself

I think that you're giving him too much credit on that first play, the third and three. It looks like an iteration of what they did last week, where he had a predetermined route pre-snap, then checked down off those. Here, they just paired it w/ mesh instead of a check-down. If you watch watch his head, he looks to the predetermined receiver, doesn't make the throw, then comes directly back over the middle of the field, where all three routes happened to be converging. He was seeking out what you referred to as the fourth read the entire way, b/c reads two and three didn't really exist in concept. They just happened to be where his eyes were.
Ill say it I was wrong as HELL. Like flat out wrong. Bryce Young looks too raw and AR looks like the potential star so far. I thought he would have more "panic button" to him, but hes been cool and collected.

You're not the only one Chris, a lot of people got it wrong with which rookies would come out raw and what not. It's only the 2nd game, but you can see AR being more comfortable than Young. It also doesn't help that Reich and his staff look clueless thus far in guiding their young QB, whereas Steichen knows exactly what he's doing with AR. Glad Reich isn't in Indy anymore, that was a shit show to watch last night in Carolina with the play calling.

If you watch the DB was with Pierce until it was obvious AR was throwing left side. That route, had AR even looked that way, would have taken way longer to develop and might not have been open.
Every pass from him seems to be within 10 yards and he threw some passes in this game you didn’t show that weren’t close to catchable. Is that not a concern? The running absolutely is great but I’m not sold on his ability as a passer.
He has completed over 60 percent of his passes and in an area of the field his detractors said he couldn’t throw accurate balls. He still has more work to do but if you can’t tell his trajectory is already far higher than it should be then you are crazy. He will clean it up even more.
He threw 10 passes, 6 were completed, 1 was the left-handed throw away, 1 was the pass shown to Granson that bounced off his hands... that leaves 2 other passes not shown in the video, a short pass to Pittman that was on target but knocked away by the defender, and 1 uncatchable pass over the middle (after he'd been concussed). 3/4 incompletions came after his concussion. Accuracy is of course still a concern, it's week 2, but feel like you're kinda just making stuff up here.
@@TacoTuesday4 This isn't an accurate analysis. He's making many throws short, outside the numbers, taking check-downs on balls that need to be thrown downfield. He still hasn't shown much growth from college. He's seeing open receivers downfield and pulling the ball down and running or checking off. That's unsustainable, and at the rate he's going, he won't make it through his rookie contract based on health or performance.
The whole knock against him was that he couldn't complete short to intermediate throws with any accuracy, and that's what he's demonstrably improved upon in the first couple of games. He hasn't really let loose with deep balls yet, which is the best part of his passing game. JT's breakdowns show how well he's processing early in his career, and the accuracy has not been a problem.

Should've hired an offensive minded head coach for Fields. Someone like Shane Stiechen. I like Eberflus, but not as a HC, especially with a franchise type QB to tudor. BTW, how many games have the Bears won since hiring Flus? Yeah, he's gone after this season along with Janocko. Then Fields will flourish. Sorry, truth hurts.
thay are being carefulkl with him. its pretty clear whats going on. AR coulda came back in both games. he says nothing in game 2 he is still in, game one was nothing, he coulda stayed in. why get him killed in season one, pull him out. thats what they are doing. if they was the bears AR would finished both games
What you says makes sense, but it's not what a leader at QB does. It's not what someone does who wants to win and play. It's what someone does when they are playing at being QB. And when it gets hard, those kids playing at being QB crumble. That's what I see, may be wrong
Alec Pierce has been wide open for two yrs and we finally got the ball to him last week idk how it took this long for coaches to see it cuz ive been watching it since hes been here. He is a top 20 receiver in the league and has the potential to be great but if we cant get tge ball to him its a waste. Would've been awesome to have him with Peyton or Andrew cuz they were smart enough and athletic enough to see wide open guys

Love seeing how it's playing out on the field so far...he seems way further along than I ever would have guessed so early on. Now if he can just stay healthy....
Hey,, just come across your channel I like the content and was curious do you know any other channels that do this same type of thing but for defensive players/breakdowns? Cheers
This is a QB School Channel
as you can see if you read my comment Mr. Sherlock that is clearly missing a chromosome, I know this was a qb channel, i was wondering if there was a similar non QB channel. I can tell by the lack of thought you exhibit in this comment that you're def American @@dholmes1219
Awesome 👏👏 On the second play, at 03:58 it seems like WR14 was just getting open, while Richardson still had OL protection. Would it still be a lack of confidence throwing down the field, or just not the purpose of this play?
14 is open every other play, not being looked at
The defender gave up on him once he saw AR was going to throw. If AR even looked at that side of the field, I'd imagine 14 wouldn't have been as wide open, and it would have taken longer for his route to develop
this team can compete. the question is will they.
"I don't know who coaches the wide receivers"
*checks*
It's THE reggie wayne lol
Talk about a crazy difference coming from the Fields video to this one. ARich is night and day better than Fields right now and he's 1.25/1.5 games into his NFL career.
Your 🧢 is lit. I’m broke but yeah them joints 🔥
Good stuff! AR is gonna be a PROBLEM - also, I like the new intro, don’t do the slow motion thing though, just make it one smooth intro, then pause before you pop back on.
Man said stay in the game convo like he can control his head slamming on the turf
It would be cool if you did minshew for his start this week
I didn’t realize he came back in after the concussion. No wonder he didn’t play week 3. 🤷🏾♂️
He would of lit it up if he had not gone out
Internet would still be broke. 🤘
He was cooking fr
He started missing throws when he got hurt. Can’t blame him though he was concussed
Why didnt you package this with Gardner and do the whole game ? I thought he played well too
AH, this should be a good one, can't wait
It’s a tightrope with designed runs and keeping Richardson safe, I say keep him in the pocket early on, wait until we are competitive to use his legs a lot, I think we all know the colts aren’t contenders this years , within a couple years though I see us being a threat
having the right coaching staff and scheme for a "running QB" is so crucial for them to succeed.I have little hope for Justin Fields right now. it's almost like they want him to fail.
When CJ vid
Other than diving on the second TD how is he supposed to avoid hitting his head? He fell after getting hit in the end zone. It wasn’t reckless running
Needs to brace himself for the hit, you can see isn’t running as hard as he was on his first TD which allows him to get laid out. He probably wasn’t expecting the defensive player so close in as quickly as he did as well so definitely something to learn from going forward
@@tomboozer even bracing himself wouldn’t prevent him rolling backwards tho. That’s what caused the injury not the initial hit.
lower the shoulder and brace or dive. he stood up tall and took the hit. need to get low and bang shoulders, give that blow back to the safty not take it all urself
Geno smith coming?
Convinced we would’ve stomped them he was okay for the whole game
We did anyway. Minshew led to 17 points. Just the defense let up a bit in the 4th. Really just our secondary let up.
@@jamaljean7232 str8 prevent D. dink and dunk till ur out of time, to protect the lead, i hate it too. made CJ look like he had a good day! and he didnt. dude got almost 200 yards in the 4rth!
he does not like pittman 😂
Did he throw that ball left handed after his 2nd td?
Yes
I honestly didn't see bad effort on the first touchdown run by Pittman. I saw it in the first game but kinda just seems like you have an agenda against him.
AR throws to the getter on mesh??? That is forbidden at Ucla, lol
That first TD run the safety just ran in too far, honestly what was he thinking.

Can we get a CJ Stroud Week 2 analysis?
Only did anything late against the soft zone. Dude is boring
@@nicktomei7642colts were playing soft zone with 10 left and only up 11? If so their DC needs to be fired
They were up big in the 2nd half. It’s an anyltics game and most of the NFL does it with a 3 score lead. Make them take time but you give up yards.
@@kalebhagan7116 still Stroud was boring. When it’s off script the dude is average at best
@@nicktomei7642Stroud was rocketing the ball when needed and was under duress damn near all game. While yes his off script play isn’t the best he’ll get there, but to say he was boring is ignorant.
Biggest pass catching Villain so far this year, is it 85, 19, or 11?
My money is on 19 😂85 a close second. I’m sure he pops up a bit in the 1hr 30 special. Haven’t watched yet.
Gotta be 85 lmao

Wish you would drop that CJ Stroud analysis
are football players not tough anymore tho?
JT is no longer "fired up" for these ones
The are missing Janel Pitre bad.
I think you're right ... and even if not that's a really excellent point. Damn. No idea how you picked that up. Impressive.
Impressive .
Please do Dak! 🙏
Dak ain't ....
Ill say it I was wrong as HELL. Like flat out wrong. Bryce Young looks too raw and AR looks like the potential star so far. I thought he would have more "panic button" to him, but hes been cool and collected.
cuz u didnt watch college tape! just listened to media. bryce too small no arm power. u watched AR florida tape this kid did something i never saw b4 every other game. he was really good. carryed that sorry ass team. played from the pocket. one of the ebst in the pocket ive seen. not the ebst but he is up there. thats in college!
Panthers have the wrost coaching staff!@@jrbmdemon colts fans tryed to tell em, DONT BELIVE THE MEDIA! if they knew what they were talking about, theyed e in the nfl! Frank STINKS! god awfull. wanna know why the colts had 7 QBBs in 6 years, FRANK!!!! each one but Luck was the guy frank wanted. thats how they do at the Colts, HC gets the QB they want. from rivers the Wentz to Matt no arm Ryan, all franks guys. prolly the main reason he had to go, ubt i had problems with him well b4 that, dude cant call plays, oh its a 4 n 1 for the game, lets call this dumb trick play and leave JT on the sidelines while we have our guys do something they are not good at and never practice! thats Frank. He is so clever lol or so he thinks. so glad his ass is gone, id take a million Jeff Saturdays over 1 more Frank Reich!
Man had Pierce (14) for a TD
If you watch the DB was with Pierce until it was obvious AR was throwing left side. That route, had AR even looked that way, would have taken way longer to develop and might not have been open.
JT hates Michael Pittman. 2nd video in a row where he calls him out and it's not even bad
The only person i've ever heard say PIttman doesn't give effort.....
Not bad for a “not accurate project”. All the “I’m a Florida Stans” have disappeared.
Some bum called Reggie Wayne is coaching WRs in Indy lol 😂
As a 49ers I can say I really like the nex intro graphic
first rookie QB to have 2 rushing TDs in a game… and he did in a quarter 😅 #sorrypanthers/texans
JUSTIN HERBERT
Two games. Two injuries. Needs to learn to slide and not take the big hit.
Ok this guy is just shitting on Pittman for no reason at this point
Damn mpj Got trashed again
this guy does not like michael pittman, he’s literally doing what he’s supposed to do by all this guy says is “where’s the effort”
This guy likes effort.
for the love of god chicago steal these plays
@@jmg999 You're commenting this on the video of a former professional quarterback, whose post-football career is based on teaching the position, telling you that he's showing massive growth from college. Just watch the videos of the channel you're on right now.

@@TacoTuesday4Texans cancelled out any advantage of the lack of talent in colts DBs by having an OL of 2nd and 3rd stringers. CJ got mauled all game.
it have to wait till the 4rth quarter of this game, when Indy gave em every short pass and CJ got almost all his yardage! cuz the first 3 quarter he kinda STUNK!
To be fair, Pierce would’ve dropped it
Hahaha probably. Dude has been stinking thus far this season
he's really trash If your hyping up qb draws smh
Can the Colts hire a coach for Richardson so he doesn't burn himself out in 2 seasons and they're back to square one?
The coach is from Philly. He ran Hurts into the ground last year.
If your take away from the film is the Colts need a new coach, please refrain from the comments section from now on
@@ryanfruge8819 Yeah, ran him all the way to a super bowl appearance
2 games, 2 early exits. Colts are the new bears and AR is the next Fields
Any thoughts on Allen and how many hits he is taking per game? He seems to be seeking contact in some games.
No because we have the right coaching staff for one... secondly Anthony is smart and will listen to learn and wants to learn.
Of course he's going to make some mistakes at first...
He will..and mark my words .. light this league up by the end of the year... he's already sparked it .
