Traitors continuing to be the very best downtempo/beatdown deathcore band, no fucking question. Great work lads.
Dong Dong Will Never Die beatdown and downtempo are nothing alike.
This is downtempo which is deathcore, beatdown is a type of HxC. The only reason people think the two are related is cuz when downtempo first came around everyone called it beatdown despite not even sounding close.
Marksman 5147 That's why I said both names and ended it with the descriptor *deathcore*, but yes, they do sound alike. Beatdown hardcore isn't as downtuned, extreme or slow as bd/dt deathcore but other than that it's fairly similar. Sinilar riffing and breakdowns, emphasis on groove, similar vocal style to a large degree - it's really just a semantic argument to say they're different enough to require an entirely unrelated name. That's like saying "deathcore doesn't spund the same as metalcore, so you should call it ______ instead."

Downtempo is a type of deathcore, which is a genre of metal.
Beatdown is metal its hardcore, which is punk. Theres hardly any similarities between this and say Drowning.
That last part makes zero sense lol, deathcore doesnt sound like metalcore they're very different thats why they're 2 diff genres lol

Theyve already toured together. Theyre all friends and even go through the same clothing line for their merch..."Propoganda". But yes...ANOTHER tour now that Spite has made more of a name for themselves and so has Traitors since then, would most definetly be amazing.

only other band to get my blood moving as much as The Acacia Strain does. When the lyrics and music match together perfectly.. its just an instant tap of adrenaline. It sounds contradictory to listen to stuff that makes you angry when you are already angry but in a way, its like a release.

Went to show last year for their final tour. Was a 4 hour drive from where i lived, went to the show and me and all my friends got concussions. After the show we got to meet the band because the manager asked me and my friends to score them some pot. As they were loading up backstage and we all just talked about different ways to get high and shit. They are cool guys and I fucking love them.
