I'm of the opinion that the issue regarding FIFA (re-selling an identical game with no development changes, or significant ones) should be contestable by law. Only then will a change be made, or the practice stop.
At this point pokemon sword and shield probably have more differences in them than fifa 19 and 21, and pokemon doesn't even try to hide that it's the same game

You could unlock heroes in crazy different ways and when you played as a specific hero or group, there was special dialogue options like you could be Deadpool and talk to lady death and see them flirt weird. The lesson of Cyberpunk is simple. Never release your game of legends until it is ready after boasting that it will come out when it´s ready. Listen and act according to your development team and tell to your investors that experiences like the one we promised and built for E3 2018 takes time and money to make and we need more time than 4 years of development (most likely 6 or 7). But most of all CD Projekt Red needs a shake up in the leadership of their development team and a mechanism that will never make it possible to release their games until they are Polished to make Poland proud of them again in the future. No Shortcuts, no cashgrabs, just hard honest work and overdelivering what you promised (like they did with The Witcher 3, its free DLC and amazing expansion pass for 25 USD)
And to add on to that, if for some reason you didn’t want to publish the game on current gen consoles, then push the game back so customers have more time to get next gen consoles and you release there and on pc.
My only argument here is. This was originally a last gen game. What would the excuse have been if next generation didn’t release until a year or so later. At what point do you say enough is enough and release the game? Too many delays. You need to put some pressure on these developers otherwise they will just take their time. IMO

I am so grateful to Joe, OJ and Alex for playing the whole thing through on a livestream so I could see it for myself without having to give Sony/Naughty Dog any money. It was such an insult. I really liked the first game, bought it and the remastered version, and I think there's so many talented people at ND including Druckmann himself (I think the Uncharted games, especially those post-Hennig - are great, but maybe it was thanks to Straley all along...) I can't think of any other series/franchise that turned so horrendous so damn quick. Even Game of Thrones season 8 wasn't this bad. It was dumb, yes, but it didn't do a f you to its audience like TLoU 2 did.

I enjoyed Bloodshot so much, it was a guilty pleasure watching it. Reminded me of simpler times and when I was a kid watching an action movie just for the fun of it. No expectations of sequels (eventhough they may be), no expectations of anything really, just sitting down and watching a fun wacky movie.

I never played Valorant, so I am not defending it per se, but if the gameplays fun, skins could be 500 dollards, it doesnt take away from the fact game is fun. From what I have seen, that game is not bad if you into that kind of stuff, wouldnt put it on bad list just because you dont like their business model
I dont understand the hate on valorant skin prices, its purely cosmetic, the entire game is free and there are no p2w items. You can even pick up guns off the ground with skins on them. So to me, I can still play the game without spending a dime and get constant updates. The only thing I think that is predatory in the game is the characters being locked behind a grind.
If I said that Valorant is one of the worst games of 2020 my friends would burn me to the stake calling me a BLASPHEMER because their potato PC can only handle that game and only play it because there's nothing else their PC can play.

It was actually really depressing to see Crucible slowly dwindle. I loved Crucible, and you can tell the devs were very passionate about the game, and were very transparent about their updates. I really wish this was released as an Early Access title, or told us it was still in its beta state on release, and then maybe it couldn't have lost its credibility for posing this game as "V1.0"

No Man's Sky sealed the deal for me. I've stopped ever buying a new game when it's released. I was hyped for Cyberpunk 2077, but thankfully No Man's Sky came along and helped shut down the "GOTTA GET IT NOW" mentality I had for games lol. I only buy well-reviewed games that got their DLC's included as a bundle now.
That type of thinking has it's own flaws unfortunately. Many games that have mixed reviews or I haven't heard much about have been some of my personal favorite games. Meanwhile, some of the best reviewed games I've played have just not been for me or are legitimately bad with brainwashed fans. Just because someone or everyone likes or doesn't like something doesn't mean you can't. As for the DLC being bundled in, I don't see how that could possibly matter. Just buy a game and if you like it enough, you can get more content for it. If not then don't.

It was fun for a week or 2 on ps4 but far too chaotic. It was a massive struggle to hit any1 with a sniper as it's also vertical gameplay and it launched with terrible aim assist controls/y and x axis sensitivity. They had a battlepass and everything lol the characters and world was just boring, and when I say characters I mean it's just pick male or female and do a fornite dance.
Crucible didn't get any marketing what so ever. Hyperscape was visible like a week and it looked kinda promising in start. But in reality the saturation and competition in BR genre was just way too much for it to stay relevant past that one week.

The lesson of Cyberpunk is simple. Never release your game of legends until it is ready after boasting that it will come out when it´s ready. Listen and act according to your development team and tell to your investors that experiences like the one we promised and built for E3 2018 takes time and money to make and we need more time than 4 years of development (most likely 6 or 7). But most of all CD Projekt Red needs a shake up in the leadership of their development team and a mechanism that will never make it possible to release their games until they are Polished to make Poland proud of them again in the future. No Shortcuts, no cashgrabs, just hard honest work and overdelivering what you promised (like they did with The Witcher 3, its free DLC and amazing expansion pass for 25 USD)

I am so grateful to Joe, OJ and Alex for playing the whole thing through on a livestream so I could see it for myself without having to give Sony/Naughty Dog any money. It was such an insult. I really liked the first game, bought it and the remastered version, and I think there's so many talented people at ND including Druckmann himself (I think the Uncharted games, especially those post-Hennig - are great, but maybe it was thanks to Straley all along...) I can't think of any other series/franchise that turned so horrendous so damn quick. Even Game of Thrones season 8 wasn't this bad. It was dumb, yes, but it didn't do a f you to its audience like TLoU 2 did.

It was actually really depressing to see Crucible slowly dwindle. I loved Crucible, and you can tell the devs were very passionate about the game, and were very transparent about their updates. I really wish this was released as an Early Access title, or told us it was still in its beta state on release, and then maybe it couldn't have lost its credibility for posing this game as "V1.0"

I learned my lesson about Treyarch and Activision with CoD:WaW. It was just CoD4 reskinned to look like WW2. At launch, it even had all the same problems that earlier versions of CoD4 had because they reskinned an early version of CoD4 and didn't even bother to fix the bugs that were already KNOWN AND FIXED by IW. Furthermore, they routinely went through their own forums and deleted all posts reporting these bugs in an attempt to make the game seem as if it had no problems.
NEVER AGAIN. You can "hope" all you want, but "hope" does not usually reflect REALITY. When someone shows you that they can't be trusted, and they refuse to admit their faults or make things right, stop trusting them. That goes for greedy corporations even more than it goes for people.
You can be a victim your whole life, if you want. Find people that continually mistreat you, keep giving to them, and "hope" they start treating you better. OR you can wise up and start protecting yourself. Your choice.
If you don't want to get ripped off, get smarter. Stop watching advertisements. Stop jumping on theses ridiculous ad-driven hype trains. Stop pre-ordering things before you know what they ACTUALLY are. And, FFS, stop buying games from companies that NEVER deliver what they promise.
You'll only get what you deserve from life when YOU take care of yourself. Stop being the idiot that EA, Activision, T2I, etc. think you are and stop giving them your money. That's the ONLY way this will get better. The sooner we let those god awful companies die, the sooner their IP will pass on to someone who actually cares about their customers. I got smart. Will you?

No Man's Sky sealed the deal for me. I've stopped ever buying a new game when it's released. I was hyped for Cyberpunk 2077, but thankfully No Man's Sky came along and helped shut down the "GOTTA GET IT NOW" mentality I had for games lol. I only buy well-reviewed games that got their DLC's included as a bundle now.
That type of thinking has it's own flaws unfortunately. Many games that have mixed reviews or I haven't heard much about have been some of my personal favorite games. Meanwhile, some of the best reviewed games I've played have just not been for me or are legitimately bad with brainwashed fans. Just because someone or everyone likes or doesn't like something doesn't mean you can't. As for the DLC being bundled in, I don't see how that could possibly matter. Just buy a game and if you like it enough, you can get more content for it. If not then don't.

It was fun for a week or 2 on ps4 but far too chaotic. It was a massive struggle to hit any1 with a sniper as it's also vertical gameplay and it launched with terrible aim assist controls/y and x axis sensitivity.
They had a battlepass and everything lol the characters and world was just boring, and when I say characters I mean it's just pick male or female and do a fornite dance.
Crucible didn't get any marketing what so ever. Hyperscape was visible like a week and it looked kinda promising in start. But in reality the saturation and competition in BR genre was just way too much for it to stay relevant past that one week.
I was done when Oj said "oh fuck" when Aj was storming towards him🤣

Some games like Path of Exile, Warframe or WoW do it right (and yes.. MMOs are Games as a Service :P ). The concept isnt Bad the Developers or Publishers are.

That is why you have a significantly higher chance to get a greater influence on a game more than a movie. In LOU 2, I, Joel, got bashed in the head and we had to become someone we do not want to be and had to attack our own daughter and handicap her and destroy her life.
