When I saw Alex perform an advancing stance with those sounds and that animation and the animations as a whole, I kinda had a primal reaction and made a sort of guttural monkey howl sound. Amazingly good Alex the Lisa. Edit: I fondly recall having dreams similar to this one, fighting, bleeding, gore, etc. Alex’s wake up reaction is realistic. I like this little mod, the feeling it gives off, and the thoughts I had while watching and perhaps soon playing it.
I love playing it, Alex could theorically accept defeat, which is the ideal thing, even avoiding, but he feel the need to keep fighting, to keep the blood of his hand fresh, he is already doomed by this point. Yet we are reminded, why Alex even managed to get this far, his Allies, them together got this far, outwise, Alex wouldn't be able to even scratch the weakest of the trash raggers.
Oh now this is quality. I came in expecting trauma, I left with Alex being powered by friendship and Red Velvet. I also noticed small changes like improved combo dial animations. Nice touch.
A few thoughts. Writing could use a little work, but at the same time who cares lol I think the idea of actually upsetting the franchise by "breaking the streak" is neat Alex is strong as heck, god damn, I didn't think that old man had it in him. His phases 2 and 3 do look a little edgy but what can you do. Also, the music is pretty neat. Having kroger literally just be resized a la "nearest neighbor" is kind of terrible but hilarious at the same time, like calling geen "artist" and salt crab "crustacean" because we couldn't just pass to their "real names" like we could in hopeful's ending. That being said, I dunno, this is pretty cool. Alex having franchiser moments is always welcome in my eyes.

Is what normal people experience a sense of neutrality? Is that as far as the spectrum goes or is there something greater in the other direction? The opposite of infinity (infinitesimal? Finite? Zero?)? An even further expansion to that idea is, what even ENTAILS being on that end of the spectrum? Pacifism? Nonaggression? Self-defense? What is it that those on that end believe in? Hope? Passion? Compassion? What power, if any at all, would being in this end of the spectrum provide? Healing? Invulnerability? Perfect defense? Who knows HELL you can even go further back in the ORIGINAL question of infinity. Is the folds the only end goal? Is there more to what comes? Hell, there’s literally a notation for beyond infinity, ℵ0, which stands for the cardinality of real numbers. There even is ℵ1, which is larger, ℵ2 which is even larger, etc. meaning there’s even an infinite amount of different infinities! This storyline and concept is truly fascinating and if I had the software, editing know-how, etc. I could make HOURS of videos and such talking about this game and its story threads. Hell even if I knew RPG maker stuff I would’ve made tons of crud expanding on these ideas that have been drummed up over the years.

This mod may be a bit like a dumb fanfic (judging from the creator's own comment, I think they might even agree with that sentiment); but GODDAMN do I love the "Unlucky" sprites! It may just be my love of that whole troupe of characters that are so injured and beaten that they're lying at death's door, but get up and keep fighting despite their state. Regardless, I am a really big fan of basically every artistic aspect of that depiction of Alex (Although I find it funny that while Alex's injured sprites look amazing, Krogger's just look amateurish)
My only minor complaint is that if it's a fight against all the Sweet Breeze park bosses, Francis should've taken Cleveland's spot instead. Other than that, this is amazing.
