Closest I've ever seen to that is when a line of poplars, 30 or so inches at the bases, that had been standing dead for a few years had to come down. When the stems were cut, they foutained water for a couple of days after that. The first day, it was enough to actually rinse your hands under. It was a fairly moist area, but not swampy by any means.
Thanks for sharing Blair, I enjoyed watching. Cool cut over the pool and yes, I have seen these air bubbles after making a cut on an oak tree. Seen it on several occasions. I live and work in Upstate New York. Again, thanks for sharing and Enjoy the remainder of your weekend guys😊
Very interesting. Never seen any sort of foam that bubbled out of a tree before. It would be interesting to see what it looked like below the foaming cut.
I agree! That was a lot of work for two guys in that heat irrespective of age. I still thrash myself on jobs to cover for the young slackers who don’t have a pinch of what these guys have in abundance. Nicely done Blair, always 10 out of 10 for effort and that’s all that matters
You made me laugh hard, after you kind of scared 😱 me. In your vid beginning I was focusing on the bubbling… and out of nowhere “IT’S ALIVE…”…. Had some sap coming out of an old oak tree, but nothing like this!
aww poor tree, rotting from the inside out. Pretty neat to see though. That would of turned into what is called a weeping tree right? coming through a crack in the bark because of an injury?
You should’ve tasted it! Perhaps you did? It might’ve been something very very special! If you did taste it, let us know what you thought. Of the taste and of the effects. Thank you.❣️
Reminds me of a removal a few years back. Inspecting a huge honey locust for hazards and found a natural gas leak where the roots raised and cracked the service line. Service was shut off. We removed the tree and roots along with the stump and the line had a section replaced. The people had been unaware of the leak even though I smelled it the moment I approached the tree.

Glad you enjoyed it
You uncorked a carbonated tree. Now it's gone flat.
That pressure was building
LOL Rootbeer
Yeah, I've seen it before. When I was in college in the 60's and we drank too much of the 29¢ a six-pack Katz Beer!
That's some serious skill to take that tree down in such a tight space

I should have shown that. It was a small but open cavity
I've heard methane is sometimes generated inside rotting trees. I wonder if the gas would have burned if you tried lighting it.
Interesting thought! Thanks
Imagine it did burn quite well. Could get dangerous.
@@ElectricityTaster at least you wouldn't need to grind the stump haha
You sir, are a badass. In a truly inspiring way
Thanks Ryan. Just another day at work

Out here in boise, the siberian elms and cottonwoods will do that. Especially in the summer months

Hi Joop. Yeah, this was strange
Thanks Blair, it almost looked like some form of internal slime flux!
It was under pressure
Ant farts.
Uhh, okay then😲
@arboristBlairGlenn last oak I cut back here in Kentucky was full of termites. Maybe termite farts.
Never seen anything like it. Bottle it up and you can call it a craft beer!
Nope!
@@arboristBlairGlenn I bet you could sell it around Silicon Valley.
Would be interesting to know what kind of microorganism that is, im guessing some kind of yeast right?
Fermenting

Possibly
In the end, we all ferment.

Was it just the two of you on that job?
No, had a third
@@arboristBlairGlenn still a lot of material to hand move with just 3 guys.
I had this happen but what came out was what looked like poop! It was so bad 😂😂 I’m pretty sure I have it on my channel somewhere
This was a first for me
🤔🤷♂️, good job nevertheless!

How did it smell? I'm sure you sniffed it. As always, Blair I enjoy your videos.😃
No strong odor
too bad you didnt taste that stuff.
Yeah right!😬
Sell it as a drink at Starbucks.
