- This video is designed to educate users of all ages about safe substance use. We explain what a safe dose looks like and which drugs you should never mix if you want to avoid dangerous interactions.
Thanks to a general lack of basic safety information, many users experience accidental overdose and for some, death. In 2013 an American study found that 30% of all prescription drug overdoses leading to death were caused by benzodiazepines such as Xanax and Valium.
Most overdose deaths could be avoided with some very basic safety knowledge, such as what is discussed in this video.

Absolutely agree with Karen. I see very little recreational value in the traditional benzos, xanax included. The way they obliterate anxiety so cleanly though, is practically a high in itself. I value them for their utility.

I take Xanax a few times a week when I feel an anxiety attack creeping in, I only take 1/2 of the smallest dose. It helps me function so much better, if taken correctly and cautiously it’s literally a lifesaver.
Yes it does. As long as you keep taking low dose, and don’t take them regularly. I always use them like that as well. Works well for me

I get really angry at comments like these, because I feel like anxiety/panic attacks should be dealt with on your own. However, I get so mad because i’m jealous. Im jealous because I wish I had something to help me when I’m shaking profusely just going into a gas station, but Ive been taught my entire life that those things must be dealt with “like an adult”.

@@fionafox420 it’s good you know how much you can take without becoming dependent on it. When I started taking them I didn’t do research on it so I took it every day for like 3 months, but I’m lucky i stopped as soon as I did because the withdrawals could’ve been so much worse. Now I only take it when I feel an anxiety attack coming which is very rarely now!

The first time I took a Twinkie, which is a 2 mg. , I had a weird night. Woke up the next day and I had to go to work, BUT, I was still feeling around 80-90% of the effects the next day! The WHOLE DAMN DAY! I had to drive the work van, and my boss ( at the time ) asks me this: what the hell did you take? I told him I tried a zannie bar for the first time! It was like I was just SLOPPY! All over the place. After I told him what I had taken the night before he STILL LET ME DRIVE! If I were him, I would drove myself that day, I'm lucky though, my old boss used to take em all the time. I'm about to detox off of Xanax, weened down to .25, tomorrow is day one! Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh! I'm petrified of the withdrawal symptoms. I hear some people saying we can die from Xanax wds? Seizures! Holy shit! Hopefully I weened to a small enough dosage that it won't be that bad. I'm not a big person at the moment. I'm on day 4 of suboxone wds, and tomorrow I'll be detoxing from BOTH! HOLY HELL! Any words of advice for getting off of Xanax, even at a low dose, would really helpful. I'm alone at my house and if I seized, nobody would know. Fuck!

Real shit I used to pop xans and I was going thru so much , from my experience it’s having another shitty day and you wanna forget about it . I used to use it as a tool if I was going to school and didn’t wanna feel social anxiety ,depression, all of that . Yes it’s a downer but the way it makes your body feel it’s like you couldn’t give no fuccs about nothing everything was a okay it put a mask on my dead reality it helped temporarily but like all drugs not all of them last forever .Being dead alone having nobody care about you shit like that could make you feel comforted and not alone . How it affected me I was so calm that I couldn’t overthink , i did what I wanted . To others you will look like a craccbaby because it makes you slow as hell the way you walk talk all of that and emotions are 1000000000/10 unstable . You are right though the way it makes you forget . But if you do pop them constantly say starting Sunday you won’t even remember living that week and that’s power of Xanax at least from my perspective ,it’s abused commonly for people who can’t speak their feelings.

Please try a CBD product first, whether oil or a food product or a vape pen. My anxiety went from an 8 to a 4 literally overnight. I wish so badly I had known about CBD oil before I got myself addicted to Xanax for 8 months just to stop the panic attacks. CBD is non-psychoactive and non-addictive, and it is good for your body. Stuff has been miraculous thus far.
What type of cbd do you use? The one I tried didn't do anything for my anxiety...
I use Nature-Driven hemp oil, I buy it off of Amazon. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, it might be more effective for some people than others. But it was a game-changer for me because I went through about 10 different SSRIs and 3 different benzos and nothing had really worked, or it had but had caused more problems than I had to begin with. Hemp oil has been the first thing that has really worked with zero side effects.

I took half a xanax bar one night, didn't feel much other than relaxation that night. But the next morning, I was on autopilot. I went to get a haircut and then went back to sleep. After waking up again, I didn't remember the haircut at all. I looked in the mirror and wasn't sure why I looked different until my mom asked me how my haircut went. I’ve noticed that xanax is largely recreational only for neurotic and anxious people. Not just “i worry about about life excessively” anxious, but like having a panic attack every day, debilitated, “definitely a mental health issue” kind of anxious. I’m an extremely anxious person, always feel tense in my body, high heart rate, dissociation, lots of physical discomfort, frequent panic ; and Xanax (and other benzos) is the most recreational drug in the world to me. Just getting a break from my anxiety is more euphoric than any drug i can think of.
I don’t use any drugs besides kratom and benzos (when i can, which is very infrequently) because other drugs cause my too much anxiety. I used to love them though.
I’ve noticed in highly anxious or depressed friends, the same thing occurs; everyone who really likes xanax in my life is somehow battling mental health issues. My friends who aren’t, and are using drug use for profound experiences and not self-medication, don’t really seem to value or enjoy xanax much at all.
Just a personal anecdote i thought i’d share. Fuck generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder, i feels like it’s ruined my life and turned my 20’s into a dysphoric mess.

I have mild anxiety nothing that needs medicating though. I have noticed it affects my friends differently in that they don’t get euphoric. We are well versed in self medicating so we are familiar with what euphoria feels like too. Weird.

Xanax helps me very much with my anxiety. It’s for people like me who NEED IT. When I take my Xanax I feel NORMAL. I don’t feel bad and I don’t “Black out” or fall asleep I feel normal and great. That’s what it’s suppose to do.

I have bad anxiety and panic attacks and PTSD and 1/4 of a mg of benzos still fucked me up. It's very obvious when I had taken some as my prescription (and way less than I was prescribed) and would be like that for 8 hours. I honestly don't know which was worse, being on a very low dose of benzos and being a vegetable for 8 hours of having a panic attack and faint.

One of my best friends use to be severely anorexic and during a particularly hard part of that disorder, she was hospitalized and they regularly gave her Phenibut to help with her emotional state problems, but also because it helped make her “recognize” her hunger better and actually want to eat more. I can’t say that’s for everyone, but it helped her a lot. It wasn’t given for her anorexia, she had BDP and C-PTSD (along with probably a dozen other diagnoses for various similar issues), and it was primarily to help with those disorders (if I recall correctly it’s an antidepressant but I can’t remember for sure), but it also was very helpful for treating her deadly anorexia.

Would be nice if you did more profound tests like have someone ask you questions about yourself, about your emotions and do activities that are more mind-expanding than putting hot sauce in your tongue or catching balls, like painting, watching a movie or contemplating nature and seeing how different you actually perceive things! You have a whole channel about using drugs and a huge audience paying attention to you and what you do, it's a shame not to take more advantage of that...
All his tests include inconsistency and bias. When he talks about his past trips he tells you his subjective experience and that's it, it's not like he's telling you it will happen to you. Even in this video he mentions how Xanax affects him but if you think about it for other people that is precisely the effect they want and to them the experience might be that of relaxation and less anxiety and if they were making the same video they would express something totally different. Regardless of that, the tests I mention would at least teach you something and promote psychological evolution. Knowing that a certain person had a profound experience when using a certain drug in a certain context doing a certain activity doesn't automatically mean it will be the same for everyone, but at least it's showing a use for drugs that go beyond just the usual ones that are portrayed as either fun, silly or even totally insignificant in the long run. I'm all for drugs as entertainment, just like say movies, but there's much more to it than that, on a personal level and a global conscience level, and I feel there's no balance in this channel and others (like Drugslab, they could do so much more with that channel and they just don't), like it's lacking the side where you can actually help people improve, grow, progress. I'm not saying Adam doesn't do this, I'm saying that IMHO he doesn't take full advantage of his position, like a lot of famous people don't do as well... I don't see all his videos so I may be totally wrong, but I could swear I heard him mention his patreon and the fact that he needs more money to make better videos way more times than something about personal growth, self-awareness and just awareness in general, mindfulness, empathy, love, connection... And I don't mean in a cliche spiritual up-its-own-ass kinda way, I mean in an honest, direct and altruistic way...
Unfortunately this is just one man. I mean if he had a couple of people helping these video could be a lot more robust.

Well sure he could do more with more people, but paint? only one person needed... watch a movie? only one person needed... contemplating nature? only one person needed. He could do those things and talk about them later without the need to film them while he does them, just talk about his experience on camera. He could write a whole bunch of personal or existential questions and read and respond them out loud in the video... and he doesn't need anyone else to do that, it's just being more creative with what you have...

phenibut doesn't reduce my anxiety nearly as much as xanax would, but being able to function properly is a huge plus. xanax is really only good for acute panic attacks while phenibut is great for general social anxiety.

I just bought a bottle of Phenibut a couple days ago. Suppose to arrive Monday. 250mg per pill, how much do you suggest for my first time using? I'm 6ft tall and appox. 170 pounds. Being around someone using xanax typically makes me uncomfortable. It's difficult to explain why but it's like I can't "feel" them. Like they have been emptied of their soul or something. I try not to judge but I can't understand why the drug is so appealing to some.

Unfortunately a week later i relapsed ... I'm sober now . These videos are awesome. I'm 31 in two days. My first acid experience was white on white family fluff. I was in 7th grade.. Yeah I’ve pierced myself so many times off Xanax and not felt shit despite just shoving a thumbtack through my nose or ear. Although I’ve still pierced myself sober, I actually felt the pain unlike when I took multiple bars.
Phenibut is fantastic. Knocks out the anxiety without making you tired. I'm very productive on it as well. I've also noticed that I appreciate music more while on it

@@moosehoof420 Phenibut makes me pretty sedated, especially combined with weed. Combined with caffeine I feel more productive and social than when I'm sober. F-Phenibut is even more sedating but it's considered a very different drug in some ways.

As far as recreational use goes, phenibut is far superior to traditional benzos. Where benozos make me feel somewhat depressed, phenibut actually feels really good in addition to the calming effects.
