"For reasons unknown that I now forget I gave you no love, which I now regret." Those lyrics always make me feel sad. It's so easy to take our loved ones for granted and treat them with indifference. When you lose them, you realize that you could have done so much more for them.
My fav album from IQ (and one of my favs in general) is Subterranea. Since this post is already a year ago, I guess, you already gave it a shot but if not, you definitely should.
I love the sequence that starts at 12:19 - especially the vocal melody. That melody and others like it throughout IQ's history are the very best of what I love about this band. I find those melodies so heartrendingly beautiful.
Of the neoprog bands, IQ were/are the ones who best understand melody, managing to make appealing ones that aren't middle-of-the-road banal. It's more of an achievement than some people seem to realise.
Absolutely beautiful... “Dark Matter” was, fifteen years ago, my first exposure to IQ. They have SO many brilliant songs. Well worth checking out is their 2005 video “Stage & Screen”, with live concert footage of IQ at NEarfest in Pennsylvania. A track that is also very moving and beautiful is “The Province,” from the 2009 album “Frequency”. It’s a concept album concerning the horrors of Hiroshima, at the end of WWII. Enjoy...!
I think this is probably as close to a modern-day masterpiece as one is likely to find in this genre, all of its truly delicious pieces and parts combining in a very unique and intricate way to make it a satisfying experience for anyone willing to step past cliche-laden labels, criticism more grenade-like than constructive, and any pre-conceived notions and just give it a try. Musically, IQ can and does write|arrange|play with the best of them. A long-time personal favorite.
Long before the living past had ripped it all apart Something still remained, until it flashed back to the start Where it stands, nobody saw, behind the blackest eyes Show them how you're stronger now; it pays to advertise Wisely. Day after day, with you in my head I said some things I shouldn't have said For reasons unknown, that I now forget, I gave you no love, which I now regret What I'd give to hear again those everlasting songs Why did all the accidents contrive to fall at once? Only Day after day, with you in my thoughts I never knew time was so short For once in my life, I wasn't alone With blood on my hands -- how could I have known? Used to be the great white hope; once I walked on water Now I barely stay afloat, balance out of order With every sympathy worn away, who can I return to now? For the time that I have left, I scan that cold horizon Searching for a kindred soul, someone to rely upon We're disconnected and heaven-sent, Sheltered in dead air Hidden everywhere The sky lights up above America The world is lost, but loves America When the eyes of children see the ones left standing, Then the rest begin to finally understand The hand of God defends America And who would not defend America? We've got right on our side, we're in pole position, So praise the Lord and raise the ammunition high Raise it high Hide where you can We will shoot you where you stand I've walked a million miles upon an open road And once in every while, without the will to carry on I was held in too long, one location An old familiar tale, a glory to behold A work of genius, the greatest story ever sold As you sign on the line As you do what you're told All you sell is your soul I've been this way before, I've seen it many times A nation on the track, the fiction turning into fact No one dares to look back Dares to start to prepare For the harvest ahead All you lose is yourself And, brought to life with a series of shocks I realize that you are gone from my life And still I cling to the fear of the dark Don't follow them, for they don't care how you are And I'm finding a way of being, accepting life all alone And I'm hoping I'll wake up seeing a way to live on my own It's wasn't hard to believe in the lie Although I've come to know it wasn't my fault Why does the world continue to spin While everything around me grinds to a halt? And I'm finding a way of being, accepting life all alone And I'm hoping I'll wake up seeing a way to live on my own Mine is a real fine line: I get harder the higher I climb Shine like a star so bright, anybody can see any time No one will want to follow; this will be gone tomorrow We enter an age of permanent doubt, where we communicate without words But I must be heard So I cut through the smoke and the noise Mine is a real fine line: it imagines it's one of a kind Goodbye to all expression, farewell to superstition We enter an age of permanent doubt, where we communicate without words And the noise expands, as it covers the lie of the land Shine like a star so bright, till we shut out the light Put out the fire Cut through the smoke and the noise Lately I've been talking to myself Been remembering, and doing little else The road ahead is anything but clear Last time around, where did we go from here? What about some golden hours? I was alive, certainly you were wrong Anyone can be persuaded; given the time, we all scream alone What about this good-for-nothing season again? Everything's come and gone And I can't believe that I'm not watching you, I'm in a sorry state Return to ordinary thoughts now, if you can The words I hardly understand gather round me, while I wait What about those colder cowards, arming against lost intelligence? Anyone who saw me crawling there would have known that I was normal once Return to ordinary thoughts, too young to take the stand, but old enough to kill Anyone In the days when love divided up the books No drastic needs were used like rod and hooks To enhance what nature's sculptor had designed No augmentation needed to refine In the valley of the dollar we rejoice For plastic is the currency of choice And beauty born is strictly for the birds Your cash is fine though credit is preferred When I held myself aloft, I walked across the water Now I barely cut across; lives are getting shorter And they open up another door, to a border far below For the time that I'm allowed, there's a new horizon But a soul as cold as ice has nothing to rely upon If I'm hanging onto angels' wings, then I'm safer in the air Do I still qualify? Suspended from on high No other sanctuary have I And when the eyes of children see past the ones left standing Then the time has surely come to understand who we are Slowly the fires are burning, bearing their silent witness And the living past returns to reap the harvest of souls
Easily one of the greatest epics in prog history. Such a smooth flow from section to section culminating with that beautiful end section with all of those great guitar counter melodies.
"Dark Matter" is IQ's "Foxtrot". "Foxtrot" is an iconic album by Genesis. Although with totally different themes, the structure of the album is identical. A masterpiece in modern prog.
I have to agree on that, the guitar solo in the finale is molding in the ensemble with such perfection and emotion. I get the shivers every time I hear it ! It took me a while to discover IQ (on the late side !) but the emotions felt were somewhere similar to the ones I experienced as a teen when I discovered Genesis. "HoS" was a stunning discovery for me. It just blew me off and still is. Cheers to those iconic progressive rock tracks ! They make life lighter or worth believing in some other "possible".
I don't hear anything like Supper's Ready either. What I hear is a super talented group of musicians who needs a producer. When they break into a new section, it sounds just like the previous section. We don't hear new sounds that define the new section, or vocals sung through a different processor, or totally flat to fit the storyline.. What I'm hearing is the work of a producer who refuses to use different sound pallets to accentuate different parts of the song. Everything in this is sonic 'lush'. Anyone who thinks this is the new Supper's Ready needs to listen to SR again with headphones.
They played that song in Montreal years ago with such brio and perfection. Thank God prog music is still alive. Touches my soul every time I hear that one.
Was into IQ when this came out with Ever and The Seventh House favorites. Highly anticipated this release and preordered it from Ken at the lasers edge. I was very happy with the epic length tracks and retro Floyd/Genesis/IQ sound. This release set the stage for the three excellent following releases where IQ really found their own excellent unique sound. Not that they hadn’t already. More than a bit negative with the lyrics. Oh well. We live in a society full of negatives and positives. Someone must point out the negatives too. Just so it’s educational, poetic and not negative to be negative.
wow, wow, wow!!! Almost forgotten how amazing this is. IQ's MEISTERWORK. This track has EVERYTHING IQ fans love about them and more...Utter perfection in EVERY way imaginable.....and so clever and intense where pete sings "When I held myself aloft"....It's a big statement but they may have equalled or even bettered "suppers ready" with this gem....yup
Excellent.....simply excellent. Right up there with Close To The Edge, Dark Side of the Moon, Selling England By The Pound....etc. It's impossible for any prog band not to have influences but this cd Dark Matter stands on it's own as brilliant progressive rock. And I have heard them all being an old man of 60.
IQ may be a bit of an acquired taste but oh so tasty! I just found them a year or so ago and wish I'd found them sooo much sooner. True prog genius. Peter Nichols gets better with every release. Check out all his albums he appears on, as I say he improves on every one.
Couldn't agree more. I too grew up in the 70's with the prog masters. The new stuff such as IQ, Marillion, Subsignal, Pendragon, Arena, and especially Moonrise, is really superb. I just can't get enough of it. I want to know more and more and more....
Magellan, Genesis, Queen, Shadow Gallery, Pink Floyd, Porqupine Tree and many more. Mix them and u will have as result IQ !!! Nice album. Interesting. Close the lights, prepare a drink close your eyes and listen. Thats how i was able to understand them.
Brilliant song from a brilliant album. You can definitely tell this was inspired by old-school Genesis. I noticed the way the song fits together and flows is similar to Supper's Ready.
iq are one the best because they work on the lyrics most of the new wave are lacking in this department along with arena and pendragon still flying the prog with pride
What can i say about it music??? Perfection... take too long.... Yes is coming to Brasil in May and ill be there in the show... Directly here to Sao Paulo... The capital of Rock in Brasil...
IQ has always had something missing for me. I think they found it with this track, they have that unpredictability greats like Crimson have in spades. Like it!
Hey everyone, I have a bit of a question. I'm a huge fan of Genesis from between Trespass and Wind and Wuthering. Anything after that, I can respect as pop and the musicians involved, of course, but it certainly is not the same. I've learned about IQ today scouring the internet for something fresh and new, while staying within the realm of comfort that I've found in Genesis. I purchased Dark Matter, as I really like the track and hope I very much enjoy the album, but say I do enjoy it. Where do I go from here? What are your recommendations?
"the seventh house" (2000) or "the wake" (1985) - recommended. but on the whole, IQ are so consistent with their music!! they never fail!! just brilliant!
The whole song is structurally very similar to Supper's Ready. Both songs start with an acoustic intro that leads into a bombastic chorus, then an extended progressive mid-section that builds up tension, culminating in a polyrhythmic keyboard solo and finally a reprise of the bombastic chorus.
I hate the production at 4:15 -- it ought to thunder out, but the dynamic range is so compressed that it hardly moves the needle. Weirdly enough, this echoes the similar production failure at 4:22 of "Supper's Ready"...

This is good !! Just like Illuvatar and Styx put together :)
This is a truly great song! (from one of the greatest albums). (Probably better than the Suppers Ready - studio album version and as good as the Supper Ready - Seconds Out Live version for epic moments). I found this explanation, what do you think? It's a recap of the last six years (from when the song was written) from the perspective of a personification of America. An anthromorphic America, as it were. The first lyric "Long before the living past Had ripped it all apart refers to 911. The "walk on water" stanzas refers to a period in the past where the west looked on America as a great protector who could do no wrong - the period of the Cold War. "The sky lights up over America" part of the song is the events of 9/11, "disconnected in Heaven sent" is, from the voice of the personification of America, the deaths of the people in the tower. "We'll shoot you where you stand" refers to the War on Terror that followed. The next verses ("all you sell is your soul") refer to the eager signing up to the armed forces that occured after 9/11 and of course the wars itself. This is followed by the realisation of America's people that this war ("harvest of souls") is purposeless and the desertion of America by her allies as America's plans got more harebrained and unrelated to 9/11 (2001-2003 Britain was full of Americophiles. 2003 onwards, complete 180 degrees because of Iraq). "A series of shocks" can refer to the countries in the coalition pulling out one by one or to the terrorist attacks in Spain and the UK. The "real fine line" reflects the high-visibility of America's actions and the increasing difficulty in justifying the war. The "age of permanent doubt" is America being torn between fear of terrorism and distrust of its own government, throwing all things into doubt. The next stanza is the transition between the actual war in Iraq and the disasterous occupation - this is followed by the stanza with "last time round" in it, which could be either referring to the first Gulf War or Vietnam, depending on quite how critical you want the song to be. The rest is just basically saying "America's gone in for the oil and the money, it's going insane and this has all happened before." These days I am glad Obama is being more responsible in his overseas decisions.
Those were two influences I never thought of before!. Supper's Ready would be obvious because of the Genesis connection but there is a definite Gates sound to this track.
Yes the battle sequence is very reminiscent. No coincidence really, similar influences from Yes and Genesis. I often wonder if those two bands would still be doing the tours if they hadn't made so much money. . . I saw them both several times, and Genesis was always awesome. . .
Here my list of other IQ's masterpieces: - The Last Human Gateway (first track of first album) - the whole album Ever (maybe with exception of Out of Nowhere) - The Great Spirit Way - Fallout (last track of last album)
Hm, I view this song on a bit more of a macro level. To me, it is in parallel to Genesis' "Supper's Ready" - with more of a take on the vision from India of "Spirit Souls".
Si.
"For reasons unknown that I now forget
I gave you no love, which I now regret."
Those lyrics always make me feel sad. It's so easy to take our loved ones for granted and treat them with indifference. When you lose them, you realize that you could have done so much more for them.
IQ's finest moment. A masterpiece.
Magnificence! The guitar solo at the end is one of the most atmospheric and beautiful in all of music.
You're absolutely right
This song is the best I have heard since Suppers Ready. It is one of my top 5 songs of my 54 years of my life.
Yes !!! I agree !!!! Genesis' influence !!! IQ ... EXCELLENT !!!!
Totalmente de acuerdo. Excelente.
As a new fan of IQ, I’m going backwards. Resistance and Road of Bones are utter masterpieces. Now getting into this album.
My fav album from IQ (and one of my favs in general) is Subterranea. Since this post is already a year ago, I guess, you already gave it a shot but if not, you definitely should.

John Thelin - The closing sequence with Mike Holmes signature style of soaring guitar solo is quite amazing. It's almost a religious experience.
Paul Arzooman agreed! It’s atmospheric, cathartic and majestic . Takes me to another dimension.
This song is unbelievably beautiful!!
This is IQ's "Supper's Ready". Their true masterpiece! All go and buy the CD if you didn't yet ;)
It's epic, ist's gorgeous, Prog rules forever !!!!

Long before the living past had ripped it all apart
Something still remained, until it flashed back to the start
Where it stands, nobody saw, behind the blackest eyes
Show them how you're stronger now; it pays to advertise
Wisely.
Day after day, with you in my head
I said some things I shouldn't have said
For reasons unknown, that I now forget,
I gave you no love, which I now regret
What I'd give to hear again those everlasting songs
Why did all the accidents contrive to fall at once?
Only
Day after day, with you in my thoughts
I never knew time was so short
For once in my life, I wasn't alone
With blood on my hands -- how could I have known?
Used to be the great white hope; once I walked on water
Now I barely stay afloat, balance out of order
With every sympathy worn away, who can I return to now?
For the time that I have left, I scan that cold horizon
Searching for a kindred soul, someone to rely upon
We're disconnected and heaven-sent,
Sheltered in dead air
Hidden everywhere
The sky lights up above America
The world is lost, but loves America
When the eyes of children see the ones left standing,
Then the rest begin to finally understand
The hand of God defends America
And who would not defend America?
We've got right on our side, we're in pole position,
So praise the Lord and raise the ammunition high
Raise it high
Hide where you can
We will shoot you where you stand
I've walked a million miles upon an open road
And once in every while, without the will to carry on
I was held in too long, one location
An old familiar tale, a glory to behold
A work of genius, the greatest story ever sold
As you sign on the line
As you do what you're told
All you sell is your soul
I've been this way before, I've seen it many times
A nation on the track, the fiction turning into fact
No one dares to look back
Dares to start to prepare
For the harvest ahead
All you lose is yourself
And, brought to life with a series of shocks
I realize that you are gone from my life
And still I cling to the fear of the dark
Don't follow them, for they don't care how you are
And I'm finding a way of being, accepting life all alone
And I'm hoping I'll wake up seeing a way to live on my own
It's wasn't hard to believe in the lie
Although I've come to know it wasn't my fault
Why does the world continue to spin
While everything around me grinds to a halt?
And I'm finding a way of being, accepting life all alone
And I'm hoping I'll wake up seeing a way to live on my own
Mine is a real fine line: I get harder the higher I climb
Shine like a star so bright, anybody can see any time
No one will want to follow; this will be gone tomorrow
We enter an age of permanent doubt, where we communicate without words
But I must be heard
So I cut through the smoke and the noise
Mine is a real fine line: it imagines it's one of a kind
Goodbye to all expression, farewell to superstition
We enter an age of permanent doubt, where we communicate without words
And the noise expands, as it covers the lie of the land
Shine like a star so bright, till we shut out the light
Put out the fire
Cut through the smoke and the noise
Lately I've been talking to myself
Been remembering, and doing little else
The road ahead is anything but clear
Last time around, where did we go from here?
What about some golden hours? I was alive, certainly you were wrong
Anyone can be persuaded; given the time, we all scream alone
What about this good-for-nothing season again? Everything's come and gone
And I can't believe that I'm not watching you, I'm in a sorry state
Return to ordinary thoughts now, if you can
The words I hardly understand gather round me, while I wait
What about those colder cowards, arming against lost intelligence?
Anyone who saw me crawling there would have known that I was normal once
Return to ordinary thoughts, too young to take the stand, but old enough to kill
Anyone
In the days when love divided up the books
No drastic needs were used like rod and hooks
To enhance what nature's sculptor had designed
No augmentation needed to refine
In the valley of the dollar we rejoice
For plastic is the currency of choice
And beauty born is strictly for the birds
Your cash is fine though credit is preferred
When I held myself aloft, I walked across the water
Now I barely cut across; lives are getting shorter
And they open up another door, to a border far below
For the time that I'm allowed, there's a new horizon
But a soul as cold as ice has nothing to rely upon
If I'm hanging onto angels' wings, then I'm safer in the air
Do I still qualify? Suspended from on high
No other sanctuary have I
And when the eyes of children see past the ones left standing
Then the time has surely come to understand who we are
Slowly the fires are burning, bearing their silent witness
And the living past returns to reap the harvest of souls

+Jason Bermiller Wow. I always thought Harvest of Souls was VERY alike to Supper's Ready! I'm glad to have found someone who shares a similar opinion!
great analogy ! So true
I think the finale for HoS is even grander, more majestic than the one for Supper's
I have to agree on that, the guitar solo in the finale is molding in the ensemble with such perfection and emotion. I get the shivers every time I hear it ! I literally just said this the other day
17.51 woww. Wat n meesterlijke track.wat n monument in de prog. Kippenvel niet normaal. Deze band is zo ongelooflijk goed .
Geweldig nummer, ik heb ze live gezien
Everyone is comparing it to ‘Supper’s Ready’. I just don’t hear it. This band is incredibly original.
I don't hear anything like Supper's Ready either. What I hear is a super talented group of musicians who needs a producer. From the 18th minute on, the « apocalypse » influence is obvious, friend. It’s still good music!
Progresivo en máxima expresión. La coda es un himno estremecedor... Un regalo al alma.
This is one of my absolute favourite songs!
around the 9:05 mark....Vocal melody, guitar, lyrics...just beautiful.
They played that song in Montreal years ago with such brio and perfection. Thank God prog music is still alive. Touches my soul every time I hear that one.
One of the greatest modern Prog-Rock songs, imo.
Was into IQ when this came out with Ever and The Seventh House favorites. Highly anticipated this release and preordered it from Ken at the lasers edge. I was very happy with the epic length tracks and retro Floyd/Genesis/IQ sound. Oh well. We live in a society full of negatives and positives. Someone must point out the negatives too. Just so it’s educational, poetic and not negative to be negative.
Seriously one of the greatest prog songs ever.
"Harvest of Souls" has replaced "The Narrow Margin" as my favorite IQ song and for me, that is REALLY saying something!
wow, wow, wow!!!
How dare RUclips desecrate this masterpiece with ads in the middle shame on RUclips
Just buy the album
Get premium. It's worth it.
First time I ever heard of them was on the Dark Matter album. Now I have all their albums and Dvd's
When I first heard this song I fell in love with their music! Fantastic, especially The road of bones and Resistance!
Truly a masterpiece! 👌👏
Vive Iq.... Un des meilleurs groupe de rock progressif. Long life Iq
Don't forget Renaissance and Camel. Later, remember Magenta and Iona.
Oh my got!! it's so great!!!
I love a song that takes up the whole side of a record too!. Prog rock ftw.
Beautiful and wonderful. After Supper, Dinner's ready !
My favourite Epic with Supper´s Ready. A true masterpiece, don't overlook this guys...It touches the soul.....
I think they are the Neo Prog kings :)
One of their best ever tracks I think.. wow.... :-)
The answer to "Suppers Ready" from Genesis and it feels realy good :)
I have never quite connected with IQ. But this is epic.
I'm checking out Astra right now. Very fantastic, solid psy-prog stuff. thanks!! Wobbler will be next.
Great song. Sounds like Supper's Ready.
Sounds a lot like Supper's Ready, good stuff.
Fabulous...has Mike ever played that guitar any better? Love it
Martin Dytham Well his live performances are as good as the studio's .... God gifted the man
One of the greatest ending guitar solos ever. Gives me chills every time for over a decade now
Gracias por estar aquí 😃
Brilliant song from a brilliant album. You can definitely tell this was inspired by old-school Genesis. I noticed the way the song fits together and flows is similar to Supper's Ready.
Brilliant!!!

Jeanie Mattone Not just brilliant, uplifting and majestic !
Born Brilliant!!!
Un capolavoro!!!!
Epic song
Amazing!
Wow how beautiful is this?😊

Grandi!
How perfect can a RUclips channel name be?
Its like a Maiden-flavored salad of Supper's Ready + Heart of the Sunrise. Perfect salad.
Awesome song
Wow, I feel so much better now.
Glad you liked them.....I cked out Moonrise and Subsignal and thought they were both good. I also recommend Snowtorch and White Willow.
'Don't follow them, for they don't care how you are "..
Sounds alot like Spocks Beard The Light! Excellent song!
OK --JUST CHECKED WIKIPEDIA--IQ CAME FIRST!!!---nice!!!!
Saludos
iq are one the best because they work on the lyrics most of the new wave are lacking in this department along with arena and pendragon still flying the prog with pride
I hear some YES/GENESIS indeed in this one for sure!..And many more!
And Tom Scholz like guitar solos. Great stuff!
What can i say about it music??? Perfection... take too long....

IQ has always had something missing for me. I think they found it with this track, they have that unpredictability greats like Crimson have in spades. Like it!
Die Antwort auf Genesis Supper's Ready und die ist sehr gut :)
best song over 20 min since Supper's Ready
Marc P Coderre "Echoes" from Pink Floyd" is also an impressive long track, although less of a progressive mood.
Das ist Kunst!!!
Hey everyone, I have a bit of a question. I'm a huge fan of Genesis from between Trespass and Wind and Wuthering. Anything after that, I can respect as pop and the musicians involved, of course, but it certainly is not the same. "the seventh house" (2000) or "the wake" (1985) - recommended. but on the whole, IQ are so consistent with their music!! they never fail!! just brilliant!
The Wake is my favorite album. Listen to Headlong from that album; pure genius.
for le is "the seventh house"
I would go back to Ever one of my favorites
IQ ...EVER
19:18 Suppers Ready influence
The whole song is structurally very similar to Supper's Ready. Both songs start with an acoustic intro that leads into a bombastic chorus, then an extended progressive mid-section that builds up tension, culminating in a polyrhythmic keyboard solo and finally a reprise of the bombastic chorus.
first track as lovely watchers of the skies keyboard
wow, that album cover makes me strangely thinking about ELP's one (brain salad surgery)...
The world is lost but loves America😢
. . . A Hidden Treasure . . .
una suite stile vecchi genesis....nostalgia al cubo!!!
Channeling Chris Squire at 6:42
...wysokie IQ...
faultless !!! Impecable !!!
this reminds me of "Artificial Paradise" by Sylvan.
Mmm... Seems more Genesis :/
Illuvatar :)
The rest is just basically saying "America's gone in for the oil and the money, it's going insane and this has all happened before."
These days I am glad Obama is being more responsible in his overseas decisions.
Espetáculo!
I like this track a lot even though I think it borrows ideas from "Supper's Ready" and "the Gates of Delirium."
Those were two influences I never thought of before!. Supper's Ready would be obvious because of the Genesis connection but there is a definite Gates sound to this track.
+Mike Reiss Always loved Gates of Delirium, This is much more Supper's ready. . . . I must listen to them both again, soon :-)
Yes, Gates of Delirium battle segment from 11:00
Yep. More SR but there is a part that reminds me of the battle segment(as commented below)from GoD.
Yes the battle sequence is very reminiscent. No coincidence really, similar influences from Yes and Genesis. I often wonder if those two bands would still be doing the tours if they hadn't made so much money. . . I saw them both several times, and Genesis was always awesome. . .
tHIS IS LIKE WHAT GENESIS WOULD HAVE BEEN IF STEVE STAYED./..STRONGER GUITAR PIECES...
So what is IQ's _second-best_ song? Please answer or upvote someone else's answer if you have an opinion. This one seems to tower above them all.
Here my list of other IQ's masterpieces:
- The Last Human Gateway (first track of first album)
- the whole album Ever (maybe with exception of Out of Nowhere)
- The Great Spirit Way
- Fallout (last track of last album)
+ The Seventh House
Without Walls from The Road of Bones😎
It really sounds like 'Supper's Ready' by Genesis; but they made a good song!
9:06 "I'm brought to life, by a series of sharks"
:D
AlanKey86 *shocks
Hm, I view this song on a bit more of a macro level. To me, it is in parallel to Genesis' "Supper's Ready" - with more of a take on the vision from India of "Spirit Souls".
17:50 octavarium
Si.

Brilliant tune, but the lyrics confuses me. Who is this Lord to praise and what is the meaning of soul?
