I was wondering the same thing. The trick is to charge down-back, then use moon slasher (down-charge) in a back-up motion, so you won't lose the grand saber's (back-charge) charge. from the back up position, release the grand saber's charge forward, then immediately charge back-down again. Rince and repeat with drive cancel/hd cancel. Your stick should be pretty much doing a 360 motion in the process :p In combat, KNOW that you're going to use that loop, and start charging mid combos/ jumps.
in KOF, there are characters that looked like weak to everyone, but if you practice and improve its moves, it unleashed its true strength or power, THAT is KOF
Leona is so unnoticed :/ not a lot of peopl use her for some reason. she's pretty sick when u learn her system. believe me she is an epic killer when u figure her out :D i have her on my team of 3

Depends on your ability to learn her properly i guess Josue Diaz. Its kinda like asking how does one drive a car? At the end of the day, its not about how fast you learn, but that you completely understand everything there *IS* to learn about certain KOF characters before passing your eventual test with'em in learning all the basics. I hope you got all of that metaphor i gave you! Cos if you've fallen in love with certain KOF characters, the eventual time spent learning them will pass by, as to how quickly or long you took in originally studying them. As you'll eventually pick up the skills through persistance and be good enough in using several characters anyhow (happens with any game if you truly want to pick it up right?). And develop unique fighting strategies all of your own in KOF one day.
I understand that depends on the person and dedication to gaming,, but i doubt there is someone that can learn all that in one day,, which is why i ask how long would it usually take for someone to learn all that??.. But i guess it all depends
you don't play PSASBR anymore?? or other fighting games besides KOF XIII? also are you only playing KOF XIII, to master it with all the characters? also is injustice is going to be your "2nd most play time" game? and when you get the gme please do a review or something cuz seems pretty good, and easy to get into but not that easy to master it, but some stuff of the game i don't like like the "clash" system. i know i do a lot of questions and my english is horrible but astill XD
The combo on kensou. I can't get the timing for moonslash-grandsaber midscreen consistent. I'm very new to KOF, but i did all of leona's trials last summer so I can do basic corner drive cancels down and TK supers. I had to cheat her Trial 8 (i think it was 8...) and do it in the corner instead Is there some secret to doing her midscreen Drive/charge combos? The midscreen buffering + canceling window is tight! Biggest things im missing with her is that & a good way to jump in. Any solutions?

In many combos you did the charge saber, then the down up saber repeatedly. I didn't think you could charge it so quickly. Is there something I don't know?

still leona is low tier for a reason when most high ranking tournament player said that. without hd or power stock, she's very limited in what she can do and response to other characters attack/situation this video doesnt mean she's off low tier. she's nothing without full hd and power stocks and to get that hit confirm to start combo, can only start with a normal, since all her special is unsafe. very bad starting character. the only way to utilise her fully is by being an anchor

Best character in the game. Simple, but incredibly versatile and devastating. Reminds me of why I love Q from 3rd strike so much.
