Truly the little details done with care instead of wow factor. Watch this then go watch some 50 million dollar house tour and they try to sell you on meaningless soulless add ons like gold plated gumball machine and the new Sony x2000 home theatre blah blah blah
Aren't we all going through the same things at different times. Just moved my family and I to 40 acres and sold the Suburban early 1900's home to build a new home from the ground up with and for my family. Glory to Jesus Christ and all the beauty he has given and offers for us.
As a fellow craftsman I completely agree with you both. Being a craftsman is not a job, but a way of living, and it is infused into every aspect of how you live. My respect from Portland Oregon.
Beauty family and home! Love the articulation of your ethos and love the prominence of your BJ40 in the story. Not surprised you’re a LandCruiser person! Keep creating and be well 😊🙏❤️🌈🤙
Great epi! Rad people and a rad house. It’s amazing what good architecture and true craftsmanship can do for people and their sense of home. Love this!
!!! 10/10 out-of-the-park !!! This video is visually exquisite! As soon as I saw the duration, as usual I immediately moved to speed through the video at '1.5x playback' or faster. . In the first six seconds, I halted my finger, captivated by the antique vehicle on the curving road... and in Autumn! See, right there, you kids got me all aquiver. . Throughout today's enchantment, I was continually thinking 'marvelous angle' or 'intriguing elevation'! . I was pleasantly amused with the tasteful soundtrack. However, during a monologue, I think that volume should retract to perhaps a barely-audible (10%?) of its prior level. You do you.
As a fellow woodworker this is just the perfect home. Also I love using my LN No. 60 1/2 block plane on my shooting board. When I'm not using my go to shooting plane the No. 62 with the hot dog!
Two things stood out for me: A reference to Christoper Alexander’s book and the use of the words ‘putz’(😊). Thoroughly enjoyed hearing Jeremy and Sher Eisenhauer talk about their house.
Great, we saw the same 2 shots of the house, 20 times. And some extra random shots of hipster stuff. Interior is also quite standard Pinterest stuff. And the window frames, yikes!🤢 Toyota is very cool though!
You’re interviewing a quiet talker and you choose to edit this thing with some loud ass banjo music with multiple people singing at once. Not even in the background music, it’s full blast just as loud as the dude talking. What is this?
Sometimes the simplest of houses end up being an architectural masterpiece.

The family, the house, the car , and the location are in perfect harmony
Stumbled on this video and MAN it's so inviting. Love the documentary approach and the pacing at which the story is told! Exquisite🤝🏼

So beautiful and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing.
Home is where the heart is, and I could clearly see where your heart lies in this video. Beautiful music too.

That is a beautiful story.
Orthodox icons strewn throughout the house in communal areas is very grounding and comforting!
