Hello Steve, are you any where near RAF Alconbury? I was temporary duty there back 1992. We were doing acceptance inspections on the A-10 Warthogs that were going to be transferred to Shaw AFB, SC.
@@PeepawMcDonald Hi Peepaw yes I am reasonably close to RAF Alconbury especially relative to the size of the US lol its 92 miles from me 1 hour 30 mins by car Im actually right next to Robin hood airport which is built on RAF Finningley which apparently is home to the longest runway in England??... Wow you were over here in 1992 I would have been 12 years old, seems 2 mins ago, how the time fly's, Im 40 now married 10 years with 4 kids lol and as for your vids I been subbed for a long time and always watch even if its just cooking your supper :) I think your a real nice fella keep your chin up and keep plodding on as we do :) take care Steve
Great PeePaw! The last KEB I got on the bench I managed to fix, but never got it running on the lab. For luck it still ok on the client haha... I've a big KEB inverter on the line to be repaired, but I confess I didn't even checked the model yet, I hope there don't come a headache with this one. Anyway, how are you doing? I worked on two KEB S4's. The one in this video. And another that would not run. I will make another KEB S4 video of the one that wouldn't run.. How is all out your way. Thank you for the words of inspiration. Always great to hear from you.
Have you ever been successful with CAN Bus communications on the KEB Drive? I am having no luck talking to the S4 with CAN Bus. Need help if you could. Thank you.
I'm afraid you'll never succeed. Homag always place custum firmware in their drive's. I am fairly familiar with the drive, many years of experience with Homag edgebanding machines.
Hi there Great video, have a probably with keb s4 on one of my cnc machines, Keb themselves do not fix or repair them anymore as they are to old. Have you ever seen the display read 8888? The drive powers up for about 3secs then loses power and then I get the 8888error....
I would like to inform you that we have been suffering from the problem of 88888 alarm Displayed and keypad not work for a long time. We have almost all the KEB F5 inverter. What can we do to solve this problem? Please help
