Thank you for the honesty at 1:08, if you don't have $50k down, you aren't ready to own multiple trucks. That is really solid advice.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
I like the 50 % down before any movement thanks
I agree.
Here is the real deal : Win the lotto. Take the money and buy a large car and trailer. Go trucking... UNTIL... you run out of money. (Buy a second truck if you want to speed things up.)
Thank you for this video. Really appreciate it.
Good lord 2.25 a mile and all on road paid for?! Sign me up lol why does “ all on road expenses” detail exactly
You are an inspiration to me!
Great info.🎉
I’m a new driver fresh out of school in Alberta. These informative videos are great. Learning new tips and tricks with every video.
thanks Ronen, you always add a lot of insight in your vids , Yes, having a shop and "the know how" to fix stuff would definitely save a lot of money on repairs
Thank you so much
Great info and advice, what I like about your videos is you keep the videos short and straight to the point without talking lot of BS to make the video longer. Thank you
Interesting to hear that you're opening up a yard in Atlanta. That's about an hour away from me, so might think about applying once I've got my 2 years of experience.

GOOD SHORT VIDEO , kindly put info. on good CDL schools with reasonable fee and admission process.
GREAT ADVICE.....😎😎😎😎😎😎
Thank u
I agree Ronen... I am currently planning to do this within my current carrier I'm signed on with ...for just starting out ..the savings on insurance and network we share is invaluable to a startup. I always go over the numbers and projections and it just makes better sense to start out with the safety net . 💯 Partnering up like this is against alot of guys' pride factor . FOR ME, I see how much it can protect and potentially save my business from unforseen disasters. ALSO, having a plug of their dealership allows me to get equipment and financing if needed whenever I need another truck with walkway leases (fee involved) if anything doesn't work out ... no bank financing can offer this .
Nice
Thanks for the comment
Appreciate the feedback
More videos on this topic plz
Will do
Very informative... wish I found this channel earlier in my career..👍
That was not bad I like it
Thanks
Come on Ronen. Why not Pennsylvania. You killing me here 😤🥲🙏 you guy’s the best. I mite have to move to Atlanta.
Lol
Thank u
PA, I don’t have any connections in PA
:(
Could you elaborate on your reasoning of NOT opening an authority until you reach 5 trucks? Me and my wife bought our truck and trailer a year ago, at that same time got our authority. We have been very successful so far. We keep our overhead low and our revenue is high. We want to buy a second truck with 50% down as you mentioned and a trailer caah and still have 50k in Reserves. If you would got into more detail about the authority it would be great! Appreciate all the insight.
R u currently working with your own authorities ?
@@NorthAmerican-Trucking-News yes, we have been running our authority a little over a year now.
sooo dont work for a small start up? idk if i like that statement
I used to be a truck driver; I left the industry, but I'm entertaining the idea of buying a truck and starting a side business to grow. I'm not interested in driving the truck myself. Do you think something like that could bring in enough profit to be worth the investment?
I'm curious. What does "pay for all your on road expenses" mean? Do carriers pay for fuel or is that something you would have to negotiate?
I been a company driver for 7 years I get 30% of the load been thinking about buying a truck any ideas f
Please let us know where in Atlanta you guy’s will open up so I can start planning my move 🙏😂
Thank u
Will keep everyone posted
Driving Cascadia 2022 , 3.08 ratio doing flat bed to 🇺🇸, most of the time running under 50,000 lbs still getting 6.1 mpg. Tried everything mpg not going up
I drive a 2019 Kenworth T680 and I can't get 8.5 mpg unless i'm bobtailing. Otherwise it's around 6.8 when I have a dry van with only like... 15k-20k lbs loaded on it. I don't know how he's getting 8.5. My truck is an aerodynamic daycab by the way. I wouldn't know how you get 8.5 hauling anything loaded unless you're hauling an empty van with a deleted truck
Something wrong
What engine u have?
Autonomous will take that away.
Sadly it's the true.
Or please explain me because I'm not sure trucking it's a good opportunity to invest for now on.
Hey brotha. I had a question for you. Is it work buying a truck right now. Im looking to become an owner operator. But with everything going on in the world im not sure if its a good idea.
As long as you don't plan on going to California, you're better off buying an old truck and financing an out of frame engine rebuild. That's just my opinion though.
@@Deleteguest best method
@@Deleteguest damn lol i actually live in California
Depends who u are going to work for and Pay package
U need to take into accounts todays truck prices. Rates need to be above average
50% down on new trucks... nah Im good. i would rather rent trucks for .32 a mile.
Thank you, that’s a waste of start up capitol. I’d rather put that down in 4 trucks and pay on the principle and not just the interest.
This channel is like grabbing the hand of GOD!!!
Lol
Thank u
Appreciate the feedback
