Well, that may be true but I just want to keep average users from accessing my network without express permission. It's sort of like a backup security step that keeps random users off your network in case you forget to set a password or they know your password from a mutual friend or something like that.

this is not the mac filtering brother... mac filtering doesn't allow any unauthorized MAC device to connect to the wifi network. in your video, you are simply setting up internet access rules for particular MAC addresses... you should clear your facts before making such a video.
