I way prefer this podcast to Teddy Atlas podcast because Teddy really loves the sound of his own voice and is very biased. Mario and Steve just say things with no agenda just real talk.

List all Pac's accomplishments compared to the top 3 "American" ATG list; combine the three and it won't match pac's resume. PAC's the real GOAT of boxing and being american, we have to accept it and be fair. We should give credit when the credit is due. I have to agree with Mario from a perspective that the Pacman makes sense to get the Mayweather rematch due to revenue & physical health standpoint. Unfortunately, Mayweather can see things differently, it may earn him big 9 figure bucks but in a physical health standpoint is still too risky for him.
If that body shot happened in the earlier rounds then Keith Thurman is done period. Pac-Mans been hit with all kinds of shots in his whole career but at 40 it is kind of hard to watch. At 40, Pacquaio don’t have the luxury to give these young guns rematches. Pacquaio should try to clean house instead and then retire. No rematches. Just line them up! 😅

If someone is taking a lot of abuse, the ref, doctor, corner, or the fighter all can stop fighting. I don't like using MMA as some kind of model for boxing because MMA is literally ridiculous to me. MMA should not be happening at all imo. Anyway, I think there are ways boxer's safety can be protected if they will act responsibly.
