I have a great tip to differentiate between supination and pronation. Pronation sounds like donation - your palms are pointing downwards to donate, supination think of holding a bowl of soup - your palms are facing you to hold a bowl of soup.
Interesting. For me, it started with "I prostrate myself before you." A lowly person, begging for mercy from a king or some such, lies face down before him on the floor, with palms down too. If that's prostration, and if lying supine is the opposite of lying prostrate, then supination must be lying on the back, with palms up. Maybe we imagine that the person was granted the king's mercy and can now relax: he lies back on his bed that night, feeling supremely good and relaxed, with the "sup" in common at the beginnings of "supreme" and "supine". Anyway, depending on how one's memory works, one needs mnemonics for only so long, the knowledge eventually being stuck firmly and easy to recall.
As a recently qualified assistant practitioner in orthopaedics, I find your videos a fountain of information in describing the relative anatomy that I need. Keep up the fantastic work 👍
There are many components to studying anatomy. One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (check it out on google) definately the no.1 info that I've seen. look at this amazing resource.
I’m not understanding how the esophagus is proximal to the stomach but the stomach is distal to the esophagus. Was there a mistake in words, or is there something I’m missing?
This is glorious, been searching for "difference between anatomy and physiology 1 and 2" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Piayilliam Uncomplex Power - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a smashing one off guide for discovering how to become an expert in human anatomy and physiology without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
You don't explain very well, you assume we already have some kind of understand. Instead it would be helpful if you explained what each word meant and gave better examples

Or rather supination just like putting food in your mouth while pronation taken food from from plate with your fingers.
Cool! :)
Its sad that people need to remember mnemonics for this
@@Womanhu It’s sad that some loser would take the time to comment something of no use at all
