That is indeed a useful video, really helps in understanding the lines and spin also. Great concept, never looked at this like you did in this video, total eye-opener.
Re the shot on the black to yellow, it just made me think even in an example where a frame is secured, somebody like a John Higgins remains ultra professional in these type of shots and in tune with pre-shot routine.
I'd start with looking at how the white travels after contact with the red. ( Learn how hitting the red thick or thin with centre ball cuing changes the direction of the cue ball) Then how you can change this by striking high or low on the white. This will help you avoid those straight in offs.
The shot off the cushion probably in fairness is more reliable than the first. You've got to be able to guage how more power you apply to the shot (White on Blue).
Hi Mr. Steve Barton, I hope you're doing fine. I have a genuine question and you may find it interesting to create video on. Q: I started playing with 15 red and 6 colors. I have potted all the reds and now there is no red available on table anymore and only colors are left. I am playing shots trying to pot colors and I am left with a situation where I am touching yellow-ball. Now, What is the treatement ? Play Away From Yellow-Ball When Only Colors Are Left On Table ? Please guide me, because I have not found any rules regarding this in the Rule-Book issued by WPBSA World.
Great tutorial and helpful. But please Me Barton, sort out one of the cameras you use, the one where the light find and brightens dims and brightens. It’s headache inducing.
@@WanderFeetChronicles sorry about that. Auto exposure went faulty on the camera when filming this, but didn't have time to re-record everything. Next time the camera will be fixed 👍 massive apologies
Very informative video and great explanation whilst going through with the shots. Great video Barton snooker

Great advice. Thanks.

Lovely video 🤤
But from blue to pink would you use a cushion ? Hendry trys to avoid cushions ?
@@Davo-z8x yeah, always use the cushion when possible on that shot.
Osullivan didn't on his quick 147 ? Why use a cushion from blue to pink ?
@@Davo-z8x more margin to land good as I explained in the video.

Yes. It’s a touching ball. No push shots allowed.
On the level I play, I would just try to somehow pot the ball and make sure I am not snookered on the next ball.
But don’t forget to pot the red 😉
True 😂😂
How can I play safe sometimes I pot white ball 😢 i am also weak in the endgame (black ball ) i give a chance to my opponent
