This is a masterpiece and fascinating behind the scenes look at the inner workings of your banjo builds! Henry Ford would be proud of your assembly line technique! I wish I could drill holes without all the chip out like you do here. Must be a special kind of drill bit. Those fiberskyn drum heads really do have a great old timey sound and none of the problems that animal skin heads have. And obviously no animal has to die which is great. Thank you for posting this!
Dan D. Dirges thank you. The trick with drilling holes is to place a scrap behind to minimize tear-out. I agree, the fiberskyn is a great alternative to real skin.
@@brncrvr Thank you I will try that. I`m working on mountain banjo number 2. I used an 8" Fiberskyn remo drum head. I`m using a router with the milescraft circle jig to cut the circles out. The routers already starting to go out and I just bought it. lol - I`m amazed at how fast you can make these and high quality. Using those templates must make them easier to build and consistent
Bandsaw, planer, router, drill press, belt sander, dust collectors, table saw, hand drills, jigsaw, palm sander. Not in exact order but those are the tools used...

This is such a fantastic video! I SO wish I could work in a place like this! Great sounds, great smells! You definitely have a cool job!
Really wanted to hear it!
Spectacular! I like how you’ve kitted up a production shop. Not sure why you don’t have more subs?
I think the first one's a band saw?
Frosty the teapot snowman Of Vietnam yes
I'm pretty sure you're using a dust collecting system with one of these tools.
Very nice
What order are the power tools in? I'm just curious listening to them.

Hey Brian, Do you have the drums specially made or are they Irish Bodhrán?
