    this is the best banjo building video i've seen on youtube. I've got roger siminoff's pretty good book on the subject, but this video goes way beyond, particularly for people who don't have fancy tools, like a metal lathe. The approach to different operations and the fixturing and jigs used to accomplish certain aspects is valuable to me. Yes, a little sketchy at times safety-wise, but, darn if the video isn't a gold mine of ideas and solutions. thank you!

    Excellent work. Just goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune on specialist tools to get outstanding results. Love your jig making skills.

    were is the gaurd on the saw.i trimmed the top off my fingers of my left hand whilest using a ungarded saw bench .i am a bluegrass player.had to relearn to play be warned.love the video.
