Some guys may have it to just move straight up but some genuinely need the time to learn and especially grow into the game and their bodies

Idk if Melo will ever see this, but the insight he gives on his mindset of being a professional athlete is phenomenal. He is helping me understand and slowly change my mindset as a competitor. I've been playing fighting games competitively for 12 years at this point. I've always felt that I was always lacking the mental capabilities to play at a high level, and it was holding me back. While I might catch flack for comparing video games to a physical sport, the drive, passion, and work dedicated to be able to be at the top is all the same. And to be able to do that, it starts mentally. So thank you, Melo.
