First season, new league, new language, new country. For a lot of players this reflect a lot. Not the best season but still he showed how amazing he can be. I'm sure the best is coming for him.

also don't forget about the 3 match ban as well as injuries. that definitely brought down his confidence a bit

Also erling played at dortmund for few years used to playing against top level players ik benfica is good but not as much of challenge
The forward line consisting of Nunez, Gakpo, Salah, Jota, and Diaz is incredibly formidable.
Just hope they stay fit... half of them here are injury prone

He certainly has the potential to do that, but maybe not next season as Diaz, Gakpo and Salah seem to be our starting 3

This lad was the wrong signing for us from the start. Unless Gakpo or Diaz get injured or hit horrendous form, he won't be starting games and rightly so. I'd even put Jota on ahead of him.

He hasn't gotten enough credit, he's had a tough season as the whole team has but he did his best to shine when he could in a very inconsistent team and even did his best to live with the pressure. Certainly not a bad season
He got pulled out right when he was getting rhythm due to the bajetic injury and our midfield falling apart again

Nunez is one of those players you can tell plays from the heart, leaves everything out there and would die for the cause. Fans love a player like that. He'll really kick on next year, I think he'll be a monster.

at the start of the season he was being compared to Haaland, and that was delusional. But he is a decent striker for sure.

Rubbish, some of his goals have come of his shin which means they didn't go where he meant them to go so if he DID catch them as intended they'd have likely missed, he's fucking awful. Being fast simply isn't enough and he should be sold this summer when we at least stand to get more than a packet of fucking space raiders for him

What he has naturally (the pace, physicality, presence of mind for positioning), you can't train. What he doesn't have (composure, accuracy and resolve on the last touch) can be perfected. You gotta understand why Klopp and Pep value him highly and gave him a huge contract.
He still scored bangers and loves the love he gets from the Kopites. Good kid that puts in the effort every second he's on. He's already scary and will be dangerous, mark these words.

and Nunez comes in, for some reason I like that player's character, even though he was often underestimated in the past, all of his goals are beautiful and nice to look at, he has potential, and he's actually good, hopefully this season he can score lots of goals

He scores very hard goals, but when he’s giving easy chances I think he gets in his head too much that he misses them. If he can get over that mental hurdle he’s going to be a great striker (he’s already good).

When you look at Darwin Nunez most of his goals are when he get less 3+ plus touches on the ball he scores but when he tries to dribble or make a swift turn goal it's literally goes out of sight, it think he needs to improve his confidence and flexibility on the ball.. he has soo many potential

He makes assists when he dribbles for easier chances for other teamates I remmember a assists he got where he got the ball in the halfway line and sprinted past all the defenders and laid off a wonderful for salah to score a tap in

20 G/A this season with almost no midfield, the whole team not being in form, and new language and country being a barrier as well. To see people 'fans' say we should not be starting him because he flopped is beyond me, and it's not even about the money it's about that he has so much potential. With another pre-season and good midfield that man would be scoring 30 goals next season and it's not even an exaggeration. He's the player with that amazing physicality and elite positioning and even some great skills. I love this boy. Give him CONFIDENCE and GMAES. There are very few world class players at LFC. he is one of them. I dream that one day Kloppo will stop favouring players and give others chances !
He wasn't great but one promising thing about him was the goals he did score were the type of goals we desperately needed in our team. When we played Jota, Salah and Mane as a three so many goals came from them picking up the ball outside the box and driving inside and shooting. The reason we lost the Madrid Champions league final is because they just packed their 18 yard box with bodies and prevented any driving from the front three and we had no guys who could just hang in the box and wait for a cross or an over the top pass. Nunez scored a lot of poacher goals for us last season where he was just waiting in the box and if he can do that on a regular basis next season he'll be a huge asset.
