Modern art can be described as exploring unconventional, thought-provoking expressions that challenge traditional boundaries. For instance, taking a shit in front of someone’s door, ringing the bell, and running away becomes an installation, while ringing the doorbell and starting to take a shit turns it into a performance.
I once went to an art show with a friend who was, shall we say--less that sophisticated-and after some time standing in front of a drawing of a man's face, he said, in a rather loud voice, "Hmm, he looks like the village idiot." Well, my friend wasn't wrong. He said what was going through his head. In watching this I thought of him and would very much like to have seen him in the audience, and even more I would like to have heard him, in his loudest of voices, say what everyone should have been saying.

The deadpan expression of the "flight attendants", the strapping of the "wristbelts" just like on a plane. The positions are clearly uncomfortable and ridiculous but everything is played as if it's just another Tuesday. Just like how we accept increasingly more discomfort in our lives just because it is what is considered normal.
