    Nice to have someone with the space and tools to work on them with/for you. Bob will be tidy in no time 👍

      Absolutely, we will be able to do a lot more to Bob in the workshop than we could have ever hoped of on the drive!

    Great idea getting a thorough inspection carried out, I have seen very much worse! If you're in it for the long haul, a galvy chassis is the way to go at this point and the rest can be built on from there. I think you would be quite shocked if you stripped back all that heavy underseal- it will be more rotten than it appears and I speak from experience! Good repairs now will certainly give it a few more years though and it's how mine was kept going until I could afford the new chassis.

    • @MadFordEngineering
      @MadFordEngineering 6 месяцев назад

      Bobs chassis is far from a gonner, still shiney black paint under the under coating , hes a minter

      He is in really good condition considering. once the bad repairs are removed and re done properly with Micks support he will look ace.

    Crackin' video. Hope Bob didn't mind being exposed. Mick is a true natural in front of the camera and I think he will work his magic. Looking forward to learning more and I don't own a Landy!!

    All pretty straight forward, the rear body will have to come off to replace the rear crossmember thats a pain, spring bushes can be fun, must have used gallons of OEP220 eg oil extreme pressure in my time, should be a good un.

    Don’t people look at a vehicle before they buy it anymore? tax and MOT exemption do not stop vehicles from rotting away

    What is the fitting on the end of the coil? @15:04.

    • @rustenuts
      @rustenuts  5 месяцев назад +1

      the FFR land rovers are fitted with shielded systems to stop rogue RF signals, so the coil has a shield on it.
