Lots going on with the Power Wagon. The dump bed conversion should be intetesting. Some older GM Station wagons had the combo drop-down -or- swing out mechanism that you mentioned. As for the controlled lower gap for dropping gravel, a U- shapped frame w/top pivot- might see one of the setups on your county's DOT truck beds for the gap-regulating mechanism. Just ideas. It sucks when one of our furry family members depart.
Right. Those wagon tail gates were exactly what I had in mind. I’ll have to go look at a real dump truck. I’m curious. Yeah. That was tough. I’ve never been through losing a pet like that before. She was ancient and in bad shape already. She had an eye swell up and it got really bad. Too old for surgery and obviously miserable. It was her time. Poor girl.
@@DeadDodgeGarage As a kid relatives had a Pontiac swing or drop tailgate. Found it interesting as kid- enough to recall it. Do remember that tailgate was really, really heavy as a kid. Maybe the restoration of one of those tailgates was a subject the bunch at 'Wagons of Steel' or some GM Restorers shared online. Always had kitties and doggies, all were '2nd Hand'. And they were all awesome in their own way. And when they depart, we joke they bump into our next furry family members- "That house, those people-yup".
@@DeadDodgeGarage that's great I did a lot of work to mine 30 years ago, and now i am bringing it back out of storage to get it up and running. Not looking to restore it as that is costly but its looking pretty good. I need to put a video up of it soon.
Yeah… this is my first brush with an exploding wheel and near face destruction. Got a lot more real for me there. The guard has been off of that one for a decade… it’s probably just time to throw it in the shit can of history
AWWWWW SHIT, I'M VERY, VERY SORRY ABOUT " CANDY ". Dogs give you some of the best days of your life & unfortunately one of the worst, AGAIN VERY SORRY ABOUT " CANDY ".
Those Power Wagons are so Awesome! Looking forward to seeing this beast come together!👍
Those power wagons are the coolest trucks ever made. I've always wanted to turn one into a wrecker.
Rest easy candy. Best pupper ever.
Looking GOOD!! There's something cool about those Dodge Power Wagons i just like the way they look.
These are in my opinion the best looking trucks ever made. I hope to see it "completed"
Me too! Haha. I am actively working toward it, unlike many projects around here… I’m very excited about it.
Missed the power wagon, thanks for the upload! RIP Candy, sorry for the loss.
Nice work on the truck. It's looking respectable. Sorry for your loss. I know how you feel.
100%.
Love it.
Awesome
Sorry for your loss.
The Jamie-riding-a-classic-dodge-in-low-gear gimmick never get old.
I like to think so!

Nice to see it back I am working on mine as well.
Awesome! I’ve gotten even farther since posting this. I am currently working on getting a fuel tank and hydraulic pump mounted.

Nice
Wooohooo! New video!
Well, gee, if you have that many projects…….and goats, it’s perfectly understandable to spread it out a few months!
Thankfully the goats aren’t mine. Haha. But yes.
Sir, for the sake of your channel, please put a guard on that grinder.

@@DeadDodgeGarage There's a right way to use a grinder " GUARD " & there's A RIGHT WAY TO USE A GRINDER " NO GUARD ", but wear eye, face protection.
I see we went to the same Death Wheel operators school.
Levels of safety over here… a little low. 🤣
