Man I wanted Jarrett to win this tournament so bad just so he could pay tribute to his best friend. But as soon as it was revealed he was fighting Hangman I knew it was over for him.

Especially considering that Hangman Page is a vacuum of charisma and sorta sucks (gotta be careful with what I say, Page may get his feelings hurt and disappear again).
So, the Buckshot Lariat is his babyface finisher, while the Deadeye is his heel finisher.
to be fair before he join AEW, Deadeye used to be his main finisher and Buckshot Lariat merely signature move that only serve as a lead up move to set up Deadeye.

yep they blew it. I could see do this in the finals. But they could have had a real story here, one last shot. Let him win the Owen and put his career on the line for the World title shot and lose. Another bad call. But when you got Tony khan and the Bucks pushing their boy. Yeah i really want to see Page and Swerve again, After the blood drinking spot, I was done with this clown. And once again, all that fit he threw on Punk over Colt cabana. Where is Colt? He had one match with Jericho and never seen again not even on Ring of honor. No respect for the Bucks, page or their hanger-ons. Omega is fine and actually a good wrestler. Page is good but just his piss poor attitude turns me off.

I hope Hangman keeps the Deadeye as his primary finisher again and have the Buckshot as the setup move. It just works better for a heel rather than a flashy move. Imagine wanting to finish off your opponent with bad intentions but your main thought is "I'mma do a flip first."
So Hangman will join The Elite and win the Owen Hart Tournament or win world title, and the whole Elite will have all the titles

The way these two called and performed this match was a thing of beauty. TWO highly underated guys killing it, Page generating top of the card heat. TK nailed this one. Jarrett and White should now join forces, their gimmicks are similar, Jarrett can "pass the torch".

And I’m not one of these guys that was bickering when Jeff was announced in the tournament, but I know damn well if Jeff won this whole tournament and ended up facing Swerve at All In, people would riot at AEW. Also, If you don’t see how Hangman and Swerve can go another match, you weren’t paying attention to there story.

To all the marks and fanboys of AEW, both men were outside the ring for 1 minute and 20 seconds and the ref did one short count and a 30 second 9 count. This is why people are not watching AEW anymore! I hate slow counts but 1minute and 20 seconds? .This is just ridiculous!

Perfect match honestly. I loved Jeff’s baby face performance here. He constantly gave Hangman the shine but always stayed in the fight. If they wanted to they could have removed the Sharpshooter spot and done the buckshot finish they wanted and it still would’ve been over BUT not as over as giving Jeff that last moment of “MY GOD HE MIGHT WIN”. The move was built up so when he locks it in it shocks everyone and is believable so when Hangman snatches that moment away and does the beat down finish it makes it more upsetting. I love it

This is about the dumbest thing they could of done here. Jarrett was 1000% the person to win this tournament, which should be about Owen not the title. They had an awesome moment with The Stroke being hit on the outside. Let Jarrett get the win there via count out, next match have him skate by on another technicality, DQ/run in on wrong/etc so his wins seems like a fluke. Make a big deal out of how he is barely getting past and how he can't get the job done anymore. Make the final match a pinfall or submission only match so you can't win by DQ and the match has to have an definitive winner. Then finally in the last match after failing with the Figure Four, failing with The Stroke and seeming like he just can't get the job done we see him lock in The Sharpshooter for the first time in the entire tournament and he wins it off of that move.
100% guaranteed that would of been significantly better compared to whatever nonsense they are going to do. There is no one else in this tournament connected to Owen like Jarrett, and no one more deserving of paying tribute to him.

There is a reason a redneck throwing punches got more over than all the athletic freaks in AEW it's because it takes far more than being athleticically gifted to get over and draw a crowd.
Jarrett hands down had the absolute best storyline here with the only real connection to Owen. There is no argument you can make that justifies anyone else in this tournament being the pick to honor Owen, unless ultimately this tournament isn't about Owen, which in turns makes it ultimately meaningless like just about everything else in AEW.
Tell me why is JJ & Billy Gunn the two best workers in this entire stacked company smfh such a "what if"
