- To celebrate Christian LeBlanc's 30th anniversary in the role of Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, Michael Fairman welcomes Christian and his close friend and Y&R co-star, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), for a very special conversation exclusively on the Michael Fairman Channel.
Y&R will honor three-time Daytime Emmy winner, LeBlanc, with a special episode to air on the CBS daytime drama series on Monday, January 10th. During the interview, Christian teases what viewers can look forward to during the episode which will feature retrospective clips as Michael is at a crossroads in his life and career.
In addition, Michelle and Christian share: what have been their favorite scenes together, how they met, the key to their enduring friendship, and how they have gotten through the challenges of the global pandemic. During the holidays, Michelle helped organize a toy drive for the second year in a row to help children and families in need along with the NAACP and National Action Network which Christian participated in, and they talk about the success of that event here.
Our special celebration for Christian also features some great Y&R moments featuring Michelle and Christian's on-screen lady love, Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren).

Absolutely beautiful interview between Michelle & Christian❣They are both so real, I felt it in my heart❣And yes, I too feel, we all want to be gotten and that our imperfections are perfect for that person❣BTW...I've been watching Y&R, since I was 16yrs, now 64yrs, except some periods of time when I didn't watch any TV. I’ll just finished watching Christian Leblanc‘s 30th anniversary episode. It was so awesome! Michael, Kevin, and Chloe are three of my favorite characters! I am warming up to Phyllis! Lol and everyone loves Lauren! Thank you Michael for bringing us this delightful interview with these delicious actors!
Loved Christian’s episode of 30 years and really loved this. Awesome to know the friendship Michelle and Christian have off of the set too. When Michelle said,(I may misquote this) “We’re all just looking for that one person who gets us.”, really hit home for myself. She’s absolutely right. Great interview!!☺️❤️❤️

One of best scenes I have seen lately is one YR showing Michael & Phyllis more lately which is a plus. Last week when Phyllis was talking to Amanda about leaving GC, Amanda called Michael told him. Michael blasted into the Grand Phoenix not giving a Phyllis a chance to talk spilling all sh*t on Phyllis which Amanda had no idea. When he first started off "so you used a car as weapon running someone down, you grew from it" or "so you stalked a rock star and he put a restraining order on you" and on and on the look on Amanda's face priceless, Phyllis trying shhh Michael. The chemistry and friendship between Michael & Phyllis classic YR.
I really enjoyed the 30th anniversary episode. I especially like the clips from the 90s before I started watching. When Michael said he was thinking about retiring I was like noooo. I thought they were going to get rid of CLB but so glad they didn't. It makes me laugh when Michael does his fake out rage. I wonder how Christian would look with short white hair & no beard...hmm. I like the white hair...it different. More Michael & Lauren please!
I have been introduced described by my friends to their friends " oh he is having great fun!" I have seen Christians drawings in soap opera magazines he so talented? All y'all are!
I love Christian and could always relate to the brilliant mind behind the fragmented soul of his acting out the character of Michael Baldwin. I also love the "distinguished gentleman" look of his white hair. Wisdom will reveal itself to time and vast life experience. Mr. LeBlanc's 30 year stand alone anniversary focus was the highlight of my having switched networks to watch Y&R. Well done and Christian is an anchor cast member that gave the legacies something to work with and play off of. I also love BIG LOTS!
I was nerdy child would send my mother buy me soap opera digests with my lawn mowing money well my mom would read like enquirer star and I read this in her paper she read about funeral directors strangest request and one lady wanted a recording of her voice said " Thank you for coming!" But told her it would freak people out! I got into trouble laying out of school to watch Jeanie Cooper have her face-lift on Young and Restless whatever year in early 80s that was ! She was working out of town came picked me up and she was telling me about it band I told on myself but was also first bugmac from McDonalds! Lmao true story! Lol be you guys!

growing in life i have the best admiration for of course pyhllis i wanted to thank mr lablanc for his gifts during the years. i have felt and grew and learned through your personality artistic exspession and exspressings. when i tune in all over years thank you for the details and prfessional exact and your command of the english language , if you will. i was always be enriched with the confidence and it brings exspression and wonderfully to dignify our human state. i love the delievery from legal terminology with such grace. truely my fav moments was wit and charm you give so freely through your charactor. i love you. for the smiles .- oh theres michael on y and &r- know it will ,yes, be great.!!!!! so thank you over the years.(( and my friend sharon LOVES you so hot. 💗 wow had to comment lol i need tovrewrite lol have a beautiful day 😊 ty

Why is his hair so white went from black to white so quickly and now he has a white beard he looks old and sloppy looking he needs to clean up a bit great actor
His hair is white because that’s it’s natural color and is longer for his upcoming play. He’s still as handsome as ever.
